Best Shoes for Bandon

Looking for comfortable shoes for 36 holes a day that are really waterproof (Just in case it rains). Thank you in advance.

Whatever you're most comfortable walking in that's waterproof, preferably one that came with a 2 year waterproof warranty rather than 1. If you want extreme protection from potential downpours have a look at the Nike Bandon shoes, several different lines the past few years. I bought the original Bandons for my first trip, didn't use them so I sold them off. Then last year found a deal on the VaporStorms and have been very happy with them thus far, despite not yet needing them for their intended downpour usage.

I believe other brands have introduced own similar lines now as well, but I have no experience with them.

You might want to take a spare pair of shoes and socks for the 2nd 18. This way it gives each pair a break and you get fresh shoes for each round.

Nike lunar vaporstorm.

Ecco Biom Hybrid 3 or any other Ecco goretex.

+1 for the Biom 3. All day comfort and 3 year waterproof warranty with the goretex.

+1 for the vaporstorms, I wore those and lunar control vapors this year and got lucky with the weather, didn't end up needing the waterproofing. Comfort was great all week though and the traction is perfect for all conditions.

Nike Vaporstorms. Nothing better for comfort and waterproof.

You won’t win any fashion shows though.

I am heading to Bandon in about a month and have bought at least 5 pairs of shoes so far this year trying to find the right solution for walking 36+ a day. I think I'll bring 3-4 pairs of shoes that are the most comfortable I've found for walking this year. Nike Tour Premiere, Nike React Vapor 2, Puma Ignite PWRADAPT, & Puma Ignite NXT Solelace.

I will change socks and shoes after each 18. Hopefully it will be good enough.

Anything thats goretex from Ecco. Best (and most comfortable) golf shoes I have ever owned...

Do you not own golf shoes now?

FootJoy Icons. I made the trip out there in 2018 and brought three pairs of Icons. I rotated each day and had no issues at all.

Lunar Vaporstorm or Footjoy Hydrolite zip boots.

Boots much better than shoes as when the water runs of pf your pants it doesn’t go down your socks.

Vaporstorms are amazing.

bring 2 pairs if you can. 1 breathable, 1 waterproof. If only 1, go with waterproof unless it's over 85*, which I'm guessing it won't be.

Vaporstorms are probably the best rain shoes I ever owned. Comfortable, decent grip, not clunky and most importantly, waterproof.
