Charles Howell, III - New Titleist T100 & 620 CB irons - 2019 US Open

I really like the look of the CB and T100... this thread title did have me confused at first though, I thought no way did these come out last year and I missed it haha

they're beautiful. all of them. darnit.

TS3 is slightly less iron-like than I thought it would be. Iron set looking nice though, simple, elegant, not flashy... Very Titleist.

Short irons do not look good to me, really like the others though

Looks like they borrowed the Mizuno shovel look for anything 7 and down. All others look good.

Totally agree short irons wayyy too round and have too much space between bottom groove and leading edge. Pass for me. T100 longer irons look better.

That CB looks incredible. I like how they have the loft stamped on the sole. I wonder if that will be available like that for retail? I'm still not sold on the T100.

Still looks like a bit too-much offset with the T100. I don't know yet...

Can't wait to see them in person!

I dont know how I feel about the TS3 hybrid yet. Will have to see how they sound/feel and look in person....Don't know if they will kick out my 818h2

Does the top line of the CB PW look funky to anyone? Like it isn't rounded off properly?

Short irons looks funky... but overall solid looking clubs

Agreed, Ill stick with the 718 line.. I dislike the hosel transition on these.. too fat and round in the heel..

Agree about the shaping in the short irons. Something looks WAY off! Though, I feel like Titleist has had this design issue with its past few releases, there’s no consistency in design across the irons. It’s like some of the irons have rounded toes, some are more square, and some have high toes. Please Titleist bring in some better designer, or just bring Bobka back to do your designing!

My first thought on the short irons was "Wow, round..." but the more I look at it, I like it. Definitely like the T100 shape better but the CBs look really good. I don't need new irons and until my Srixons wear out, I'm sticking with them.

I know weight placement has a lot to do with it but just remove the area above the red line.

Hard to tell 100% from these pics, but the sole grind reminds me a bit of the Srixon V-sole.

The CB is somewhat reminiscent of the 962b. Especially the PW cavity. To my eye anyway. I like.

Fully agree, mid and long irons looks spectacular but short irons look very "imgoingtohavetobuyspecialtyish"

They look JUST like Mizzy short irons ugh.....

Not sure how I feel about the badging on the T100’s yet either, seems like they went a little backwards with it...then again I thought the P760’s looked like squarestrikes and the next thing I knew they were in my bag...

People who complain about the smallest amounts of offset are the same people who shouldn’t be playing these clubs... if you’re good enough to game these, you’re good enough to override the offset.

Very nice! The 47 on the PW needs to go though. Blade length seems massive. Can’t wait to see the cb’s in person. My 690.cb are worn out, I think I have found their successor.

I always disliked cb irons with epoxied inserts in the cavity which these appear to have. Maybe I'm wrong.

Ill wait for the 620 "Dot" CBs lol

The short irons look a lot like the shape of the vokey 46. rounder, higher heel etc A lot of guys are starting to play vokey or non set pw

Obviously the AP line is dead as the T100 are rebaged AP2's. The CB's look great. Its amazing how quickly Titleist has redone their entire line.
