New Wilson HT wedges - June 2019

By any chance did you take pics of the face? I’m curious to see the grooves.

Another "hi toe" copy.

Are these Wilson’s version of the Eye 2/ES/High Toe/PM Grind wedge? Can’t tell from this angle but it looks like it. I’m guessing this is Woodland’s?

I’m not a huge fan of the look and it doesn’t suit my game, but I like the idea of more weight high on the toe for this type of wedge.

Well I can't say I blame them. Just as the TM Hi-Toe's were a response to the Cally PM grinds likely as an effort to keep their staffers in a TM wedge rather than have the enemy in the bag these can help Wilson keep their staffers with a higher lofted W/S wedge in their bag. I wouldn't mind trying one in a 60* provided its a full sole grind as appears to be the case here.

From one New Englandah to another, thumbs up. But trust that all of the modern HT wedges look damn sexy compared to those hideous Eye2 wedges of the grandpa days.

Lotta airtime from Woodland’s pitch from green on 17 in Open with the Tmade high toe. Wilson wanted to get these out

Don’t care what they copied...they are all copy’s of the eye2 but those look fantastic!!

if someone makes a successful club all other manufacturers copy them. it is what it is. good for wilson, they are making big strides. more competition the better!

Not a huge fan of the sandblasted "Cobraesque" line but other than that, looks like a decent wedge. I am really liking where Wilson is headed

I want to see the look at address /leading edge

Wish the logo was on it. Not just staff.

The PMP wedge offering was solid. The grinds were versatile for their types and they were of good quality (you couldn't tell if it was a vokey or wilson).

This is a good thing.... interesting to see that weight that high in the toe.

Great looking wedges, and have the potential to not be over 200 per club. Could see replacing my worn pm grind with one of these for sure.

I meant like a script Wilson logo not the STAFF. Really I get it but they’ve been doing Staff for how many years? Come up with something new or use your classic stuff.

They didn't like all of that airtime his chip on 17 got with the TM HT. They definitely would have gotten some nice publicity if he had this in the bag then. We'll see if it stays in the bag over the TM HT.

Well they have a 10 club deal with Woodland so I think they are trying to find the mix that will allow him to vary his bag for different course setups and still maintain 10 W/S clubs in the bag. So he's got the irons 3-P for 8 clubs, one of their driving irons or that new 2 iron for 9, and then the HT wedge or that D7 5W makes 10. That's my guess. Anything over the 10 clubs is all gravy for Wilson.

The Ping Eye 2 was the first "hi toe" design club. You said this Wilson club was a copy of the PM grind which is false. The PM grind was a copy of the Eye 2.
