2020 Ryder Cup Tickets

How many people are interested in going to the 2020 Ryder Cup? Lottery is open and seeing tickets listed on eBay which appear more reasonable than ticket resellers. IMO a Friday and Saturday are limited golfers on the course. A bucket list item and better chance for this than Masters since those tickets seem too high.

Never been to the Ryder Cup, but if you're a golf fan, you HAVE to get to the Masters. No place on earth like it.

Went to Paris last year for Thursday practice and Friday's play. If Whistling Straits is anything like Le Golf (and I suspect it would be), expect a zoo. I wouldn't discourage anyone from going because it is a bucket list item for golf fans, but don't go expecting to see a lot of golf given how many players/groups are actually on the course vs. how many people are there. Last year on Thursday the Americans played the front 9 and the Europeans played the back 9 with all golf done by 12:30. On Friday, most of the day consists of getting to a hole 15-30 minutes ahead of the groups, watching them come through, then running a hole or two ahead (repeat all day). The cool thing was they had wifi set up through the course and screens set up at various locations so you could watch the golf going on on the course while waiting for the groups. It's certainly an experience because it's more similar to other sporting events than a typical golf tournament and getting goosebumps during the chanting on the first tee is awesome.

We won tickets through the lottery for Hazeltine and decided last minute not to go. While it's certainly a bucket-list experience, I couldn't get over how crowded it was going to be and only 4 holes seeing play at a time. So instead of 50k spread over 18 holes, they are crammed onto 4 holes.

With that said, I kinda regret not going so if we are able to purchase through the lottery again for WS, we'll end up going.
