Do you collect items from courses you play?

Wondering what if anything you collect from the courses you play? One guy I play with buys a logo ball from every course he plays regardless of caliber/prestige of course.

I was thinking I might start doing this with ball markers. Could be nice to look back on years down the road and won't take up much space.

So do you buy balls, markers, scorecard, shirts, towels, tees, etc?

Ever since I bought a ball display at goldsmiths going out of business sale, I've been buying logo balls at every course I play. Surprised how many balls I've accumulated in a short time.

I have two balls from courses I've visited but not played. Rudding Park and Bethpage Black. They are in a different section of the cabinet until I decide what to do with them. I also have golf balls from non golf places like Vegas hotels and M&M store.

I also buy the course logo ball if they have it available for a ball display I have.

For nicer courses I play i'll buy a poker chip and a towel. I have them put together in a shadow box and its a nice combo. Also for courses that I really want to remember (Whistling Straits, Harbor Town) i'll get a bag tag with the engraved date I played it.

I buy a logo ball if the course has them. They are in a shag bag now, one day I will display them.

I get a ball marker typically; have a little display in my basement.

I buy a logo golf ball from all the courses I play. Friends who travel a lot always bring me a logo golf ball as they know I collect them.

I do the same, generally only if I play, but if it were a course that I could not play that was significant, I would. Plus I have a few ball from non courses, like one from each company I have worked for, practiced at, or visited.

I collect balls and pencils! I try to get a pencil from every course I've played and I'll get a ball from the nicer courses.

I do the pencil one too. They’re free and somehow feel more authentic to me idk

The scorecard I used? A ball-marker <5 dollars? Lemme put it this way; my dream course to play is Pebble. Don't see how I could afford the $500+ in greens fees for half a decade (PhD student) let alone a stamped Pinnacle for 14x the ball's value. The (hopefully?) free scorecard is enough for my desk.

I collect pencils from every course I play.

always buy logo balls for my son and myself, while my son also saves scorecards

I used to buy a logo ball for each course and a yardage book if available. I haven’t done it in a long time though.

Scorecards and pencils until your heart is content. Caddie even prints out your score on 8 1/2 x 11 card stock it’s pretty dope

always a small ball marker & a mondo marker at a course i consider worth enough ... but only if i play it ...

Nah, it just ends up being clutter that gets dumped into a box.

I’ll always keep a scorecard. Sometimes I will purchase a hat.

I never did till my mom sent me the display case my dad kept logo balls in that used to hang in his office. It holds 50 and he only had about 15 in there - most of which we played together. So I started adding my own, regardless of the "quality" of the course. Though I'm pretty stoked to have two of our bucket-list courses covered now; Pebble and The Old Course.

It's up to 25 so I need to start traveling more!

I started with logo balls about 15 years ago. I have a large display and it’s filled now. I keep them organized by how I rank them. Every time I play a great course, one might get moved “out” and into another display I’m making myself. I also started collecting tees, ball markers, and pencils if I’ve played a good course multiple times.

I also have collected score cards and have been using them while I make my bar top. I laminate them and seal them in urethane.

Ball markers usually, current and vintage. Have a friend who collects scorecards, always get those for him anywhere I go (only ones I have ever "collected" were from our trip last year and I have one from Augusta - no, never played it). Have a couple friends who collect balls, so got them balls from Augusta three years ago and from The Old Course last year, but I've never gotten into collecting them for some reason. Divot tool/ball markers combos make good gifts so usually buy those to give away later.

Divot tools and ball markers. I used to get a shirt everywhere I went, but Mrs. Bowles was not pleased with the growing collection...and the expense. :)

I've been collecting poker chip ball markers for a while now. If the course doesn't have ball markers then I'll usually get a logo ball.
