Questions Miura mc-102 and other

Bought miura mc102 4-pw along with a 52* and 56* wedges sometime along about 2009. Shafts are nippon 1050 stiff. Really enjoyed them and played them a lot through 2013. Moved in 2014 and #kids. needless to say I’m starting over in 2019. Swing is decent all things being equal but probably slowed some. Planning a series of lessons. Question is: has the technology changed that much? I want clubs that are good for today and tomorrow so to speak. Should I just spend a year getting reacquainted with golf and then buy once swing is stabilized? What about woods?

I think your former thought is best. Though it may be challenging, reacquaint yourself with the game and mechanics before spending money. You may find your golf goals compared to the past have changed so your choice in clubs change too. Good luck.
