Spieth 2 or 3?

In the market for a new pair of golf shoes, and I've really like the look/feel for the white Spieth 3s. I'm a bit put off by the $200 tag, and given some reviews stating the spikes keep falling out.

PGA store has the Spieth 2's for $100, but I have read they have the same issue. Anyone have an experience with either shoe? Are the JS3's worth $100 more?

Prob not worth double the price but I did like the 3's fit and finish better.

Spieth 3s are wider and frankly more comfortable. If you go with the 2s, buy a half size up.

I bought up half a size in the 2's and love them. Solid construction with good flexibility that is very similar to the Drive One. Just swap out the rotational resistant spikes for regular Champs if you're worried about breaking them. I didn't love the 3's when I tried em on/tested in studio, but if they're comfortable for you have at it!

I can only comment that I opted for the 2's at 1/2 the price. Have about 10 rounds in them and they are just great for me. I actually prefer a more rigid shoe (I ride). I personally like a more locked-in feel. Also, I have a narrow, low-volume foot. So, factor that in. True to size for me.

Picked up the 2's for 79.00 free shipping. Ordered normal size and they fit great.

Are the spieth ones comfortable on course ? I bought a white pair i bought on an impulse, bought an 11.5 and seem 1/2 too big. Look cool though.

The 1's tend to fit (or just feel?) a tad large. But, apart from that, the "normal" tongue (I prefer an attached tongue like D1's and 2's), and having to frequently re-tie them, the Spieth 1's are SUPER comfortable. I put a long 2017 season on one pair and they were great. Performance tip; swap rotation spikes with regular Champs for durability.

Owned both. I do like the 3s a lot more; I thought the spike issues were with the 2s not threes (check the spieth/UA thread). Threes look a bit better to me but are really a lot more comfortable for my foot, and I agree with the finish comment; the feel like more quality material.

Having said that, I wore the 2 maybe 1/3 of my rounds last year and if you need the $100 for something else you aren't getting a bad shoe by any stretch with the 2s.

HOVR drive look better and more comfortable than both IMO.

HOVR drives are awesome. I play every other round in them. I also play in the Nike React Vapor 2s. Love both.

Heard lot of good about HOVR. Anyone know of plans for a Spieth 4, or customization option?

I am guessing the Spieth 4 would be released around March of 2020. Similar to the 3 previous models. Details likely will come out at the PGA show.
