Iron Lies bending over time

Curious what happens over time with repeated use - do irons bend more upright? Or more flat? I would assume more upright but maybe flat because of toe drop?

If we practice a loft from hard mats on the range, we might see that lie angle goes UP, but we can also hit lofts out of specs, it all depend on how those clubs get beaten on that surface we play from. (and irons has no memory, so if we hit them out of specs, they dont return by them self).

Ive seen both head and loft that moves, shaft tips that bends (KBS), or even breakage (graphite), so this is just like when PING adjust loft or lie using a hammer, only now we hit the club against the hammer (the hard surface), so the more we practice from a hard surface, the higher is the risk, and the softer the heads are (forged vs cast), the higher is the risk. Thats why we should have loft and lie checked on a regular basis, we could drop that if this never happen. Those iron sets ive made (mostly forged) who came in a few years after for loft and lie check, most often have a few heads that needs a little adjustment, so club heads can indeed be smashed hard enough against this hard mats on the range who can move head specs. That should not be any news at all.
