Might not be very vintage, but I found this severely beat up putter at a Goodwill awhile back for 2.99 and figured I'd have a go at a little resto challenge. This is about the best I could do without taking off way to much surface and weight. Thought you vintage guys might enjoy the effort more than the rest of the putter guru's.

Could you not "weld" some brass back onto the low spots then smooth it all out?

NIce job, I love my Reuter, and the soft brass has an awesome feel. Did You keep the "fluted" shafts?

I forget what it originally weighed, but the after is 297.7 grams.

Yep, original fluted shaft, not positive if the grip is original or not.

Maybe, but not really worth the time and effort (to me anyway).

The first few pics looked like something I might have seen in an episode of Forensic Files but scrolling down I think it looks fantastic. Great job!
