Man...i just picked up a Huntington Beach SOFT 11. I payed $100 Canadian all in on Ebay.
It has a perfect shape, very similar shape to others on the market BUT 100% unique. Just slight differences make it great. The milled face has "insert tech" milled directly in which is a huge plus.
The putter itself is on the soft side, but overall i dont think you could find a better putter for the price...well i've used nearly everything but am hanging on to this one.

That’s actually the exact putter that caught my eye, I’ll take it that you recommend it

Absolutely. I've used many with similar shapes...somehing about this one is very easy to align, always seems square. I prefer it over the Scotty X5 and the odyssey 7 models.

I owned the 1 and 3 liked both if them. I thought the standard grips were trash, but the heads look, feel and play great. Highly recommend against any putter, regardless of price.

And I've owned several Camerons, Bettis, customs, etc. The only reason I'm not using one now is I wanted an oversized mid-length putter at 400 g.

I went from a Odyssey #7 to a Cleveland HBS 11 and love it. Nothing was wrong with the Odyssey, I just wanted to try something similar without an insert. Mine came with the SS style grip and I gave that 1 round before swapping it out for a Winn DriTac. I agree with everyone above, especially the alignment comments. They're very easy to aim, have good weight and balance.
    Oh... and they're $100.

Have played several different HB models. Was in the PGATSS in Hilton Head yesterday and started fooling around with the Soft 12. Another great feeling putter—I’ll probably have that one added to my collection sooner rather than later.

Totally agree with this. I've been using the 11 since March, and it has been one of the best putters I've ever used. Putter perfection!

I have a #10, fine, fine putter. When you consider the price point, it's hard to beat.

I have the #6 heel shafted. Basically the same head as an Odyssey 5 but with more heft. I change putters more often than I'd like but the 6 has stayed in the bag for just over 2 months now.

Like the price and like the fact that it has some weight to it. Also, I hate messing with putter covers and like putters where I don't care if they get some nicks/scratches. This one fits the bill.

Great putters, I have a #10 that I put a Winn Pistol Jumbo grip on, and it’s seen off an Exo, a SL V-Line and a Betti #2. Stunning value and just as good as my other putters.

highly highly underrated putters!!! For $129 they are incredible..even tho it feels soft I wouldn't say the balls comes off soft/slow

I think all the time about going back to the 11 SOFT over my toulon Las Vegas. For $129 vs $449 for the new Toulon's, I cant say they perform any different. I just had extra funds available and decided to treat myself

Play the 8.5 and it's a excellent, very consistent putter. The speed optimized face really does its job well when hit off center.

Count me as another who's riding the Cleveland trail. Came into a small amount of money a couple years ago, decided I'd buy a new putter. Went to PGATourSuperstore and tried several different options, including a couple Evnroll models. Huntington Beach 1 or 4 were the clear leaders for me, I decided on the 1.

Like the feel, my putting took an upswing immediately, even drawing comments from friends. Wasn't as fond of the grip, largely because the midsize/oversize don't work for me as well as I thought they might, replaced it with a Ping Blackout grip.

That my putter was only $100 is a pleasant bonus. :)

SW: Ram Tour Grind Feel Matched 58*, DGS -or- Ram TG-898 56*, DGS
Putter: Cleveland Huntington Beach #1 35"
Balls: in no particular order... Wilson Staff FG Tour, Duo Urethane/Professional, or 50 Elite, Srixon ZStar/ZStar XV, Snell MTB Black... will trot out Maxfli HT-100 or Elite 90 from time to time

I've proven once again that anything over 44.5" or even 44.25" is a horrible fit for my tee game

I actually just traded a friend my Taylormade TP Soto for his HB soft 11 slant neck. I wanted to try something different being all my putters look exactly alike (all being anser style heads) seems to put a nice roll on the ball. Once i take it out for an official testing ill have a better idea if it will make it in the bag.

I have a #1. Changed out the grip to a slim 2.0. Like what it does on the greens. Impossible to beat for the money

My putts have been a lot better since buying it. I actually sank a 55ish foot putt the other day as well.. I have confidence I didn’t have before...the only down side is I believe it has a bit too much toe hang but that’s what I get for ordering online

Did you guys kept the stock oversize grip or change to something else? Not really fan of stock oversize grip.

  • CaptainTripsCaptainTrips Members Posts: 18 ✭✭

I kept the over size grip that’s padded like the superstroke. I think that comes down to personal feel

  • jasona93jasona93 Members Posts: 68 ✭✭

I don't own one as I hope I have found my putter for life, but if anyone I know is putter shopping, I always send them in Cleveland's direction. Incredible value.

I put a midsize Iomic on it, and it has worked very well.
