I found no way to delete my account. Please let me know how to do that. I'm most definitely done with contributing.

I don't think you can, but maybe you can inactivate it.

Hang around Chavez. While I agree with your assessment , but you can’t just leave and let it win.

I read this Post and it it kind of slapped me in the face. I’ve been quite a negative attitude guy for most of my days. When I first came here I wasn’t nearly as publicly cynical as I’ve become. And this place wasn’t nearly Twitter like as it has become now.

So this is me saying out loud to anyone who cares that I’m going to make a concerted effort to bite my tongue when I feel something snarky coming too. And to do the reverse and that’s start as many positive minded threads regarding playing this game and the equipment to do so that I can. Maybe it will be contagious just like the negativity has been.

So pal , hang around a bit and see what happens.

That started a few years back with a lot of unnecessary banning of knowledgeable yet "speak their mind" posters. Site has never been the same since and is trending ridiculously close to everything the site touted it was against. Maybe the "new 'old' look" will cure all ills...

Tour talk everyone wants guys to fail or tiger to get hurt again

Equipment: I’ve answered incredibly tedious questions to be returned with attitude and insults in return. Even from experienced posters. My ignore list is 50+ and growing. Zero point to interact with the forum fools.

Outside of tour/pre-release pics, the appeal is fading. If you showed some decent knowledge you were welcomed with open arms and warm messages. Now it’s reason to be given a hard time.

Much is not the mods fault at all though. The crowd just has more bums and less studs. I still consider it the best forum for golf equip and I’ve learned so much from being here. Find myself learning less now and being angry but always biting my tongue. No good combo

I understand and value the other concerns presented in thread. The good guys are so obvious and I center my attention to them and newbies who generally want help

I mean just cool running’s alone destroyed this place for months before he was taken care of. Many OGs are holding sole badges of spam/abuse from his days. He said more garbage than most have been banned for. The masters 2019 thread was basically his flame for the best win of the decade.

Not sure how we move forward as wrx community with a healthier feel and general attitude. I hope it turns around but Ive got my I’m done speech ready too.

When I joined there were 70000 members. Now there are over 500,000. More numbers, more idiots. When threads become circular, as they do in mb vs gi, roll back the equipment, then maybe the mods ought to put them out of their misery.

Funny you mentioned him. There’s a newbie with extremely similar verbiage haunting the tour talk section these days.

I still come to the site, painful yes, but I do to check out certain sections. I will be one to admit it has gotten bad. I mainly get on now to check the local golf section to see who is playing and when, or the course thread to check up on course conditions if going /planning a trip. Overall I have the same opinion that the site is dying. Sad....

It is important to use the Flag/Report button on any posts that you see that you think violate our rules, or any posters who you suspect are previously banned users returned under another account name. We rely on the membership to help us police posting, and it's more important than ever following the software change.

It is painful, but I find the LPGA section to be much more tame.

Couple the banal attitudes with the upgrade debacle and the site has little appeal currently.
