Best Knit Golf Shoes???

Well...bought my daughter some adidas knit golf shoes and now I'm jealous. Anyone have any recs for the best...most supportive, knit or woven golf shoes. Just looking for plain white....adidas look a bit too flashy and the True Linkswear Knits look great, but don't seem like they would give much support. I mostly walk, so comfort is big for me.

What is it about knit that you have envy of? The weight or the breathability?

The adidas boost sole is the best for walking, period. They have some less flashy but still super lightweight options like the forgefiber boa (my current favorite pair of shoes), but they aren't knit so the breathability is definitely restricted (but you do get way more water resistance).

If it's an actual knit you're after, go with True Linkswear and dont be afraid of the support walking. I usually walk and have put 36 holes a day on my True Knits and never had support problems, they're incredibly comfortable.

I think there is a knit version of the adipure shoe that DJ has been wearing a bit recently.

I would give the True Knits a try! They do offer 30 days trial so you can always send it back.

What are your thoughts on Puma Knits?

I'll toss in a vote for GFore Mg 4.1s. I don't know that I'd walk in the (but I feel like you could) but super comfy, grip well, and super light. In no way are they waterproof - like not even close. But feet stay dry and cool all day in 95+* temps

I played my first round in True Knits on Sunday. The sole is much thinner than I'm used to, but they are extremely comfortable!

I have the adidas parley 360’s and they are hands down the best golf shoe I’ve ever worn. I own the Jordan 11’s, UA Hovrs, and Nike Flyknits. Parleys are the best out of those IMO.

Thanks all...true knits on the way (will report back) and I think I might grab a pair of the 2019 tour 360 Primeknit which are basically the Parley. Looks like the new Parley comes in white and other colors.

Try the 2018 Crossknit Boost if you can find l them on ebay

When you say your daughter bought knit Adidas shoes, did she get the Crossknits or the Tour 360 knit shoe. They are both GREAT shoes. Very comfy and I've had no problems with stability etc. Only drawback is don't wear them on a wet day. They have the water resistance of a screen door.

Do people here like the adipure sp knits? I have the leather ones and love them, but not totally sold on the knit design for some reason... do they look awkwardly wide from the top view?

BTW...true knits came...9 a bit small for me so returning for 10 to see how they fit. I usually wear 9.5 running, 8.5/9 in FJ golf and 9 in Nike golf. Should have listened to description that said go up if in between sizes.

I tried Tomo this season:

* Good Things: Great in the heat, very comfortable, cheap (80 new), didn't rub the hide of my achilles like many shoes do.

* Bad Things: Fray quickly and not much lateral support.

Going to be trying the MG4.1s and Adidas knit later this year. I like how the black MG4.1s also have a black sole, and wish more golf shoes did this. Keeps you from scrubbing grass stains off after every round.

BUYER BEWARE. PROBABLY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN GOLF. Even the big corporations do a better job.

I picked up a pair during their Black Friday sale. Understood there was no return on sale, but no mention of exchange. Shoes don't fit (btw their sizing information is totally off) so I asked for an exchange. Response: "You can always give them as a gift or donate them so it doesn't go to waste". I was pretty appalled. For a straight-to-consumer startup brand, customer experience is key to driving word of mouth referrals and viral marketing. Allbird are great at this. I had issues with two different shoes and they accepted them, even after they had been worn. I would stay clear of TOMO just for the customer service hassle alone. Add to that the accurate feedback on how flimsy these shoes are and the heel slip issue because of a super shallow heel cup, and these are just walking shoes with inconvenient tread.

I really wanted to like these shoes and this company because based on the website they really did look like Allbirds for golf. Better to just wear some Allbirds and play on a dry day. Stick with Adidas, GFORE, ECCO, anything else would beat these shoes.
