Scottsdale/Phoenix: which 3 courses from the below list???

Which 3 of the following would you recommend? Over-seeding when we visit so need to find a few from this list... and would like to avoid anything too punishing off the tee.

Legend Trail

Phoenician

Whirlwind Devils Claw

Dove Valley

Piipash

Tonto Verde Peaks

Kierland Acacia

McDowell Mountain

Las Sendas

Wickenburg Ranch

(for reference our favorite courses are Monument, Suguaro, Dinosaur, Verrado and Ambiente)

Not sure about current conditions but whirlwind is pretty forgiving off the tee. Had a good time on both courses. A nice change of pace from side if the more demanding courses

Las sendas is punishing off the tee

Haven't played all of them but I'd go:

Wickenburg Ranch

Legend Trail

Tonto Verde

I like Whirlwind and Legend Trail. I haven't played Wickenburg, but people say its awesome. If you like Dino Mountain, you will probably like Las Sendas. Lots of ups and downs and lefts and rights. I like it, but its tough the first time not knowing where to go a

We are staying in Old Town Scottsdale... Wickenburg Ranch unfortunately looks a long way from there.

Whirlwind, Legend Trail and Tonto Verde.. currently in the lead. Any other opinions?

Why Tonto Verde? Verde RIver is head and shoulders above Tonto! But Whirlwind and Legend are good calls

Verde River is overseeding when we are there... so the list above consists of the available courses that we don’t already know. We think we need 3 of them to compliment a cpl of courses we have played before.

Ahh..sorry, I see no dates on the trip.

Only guessing but Verrado Victory is out of OS and so is Grayhawk Talon and Boulders South

Can recommend Devils Claw and Wickenburg Ranch with conviction. Legend trail is pretty good too. Haven played any of the others.

Scottsdale golf trips are valuable and rare commodities.. can’t let them go to waste!

Don’t come during overseed then lol

We have Troon, Boulders, Quintero, Ambiente, Verrado as options.. so only need 2-3 from the above list for a good mix of old and new.

My choices would be Las Sendas, Dove Valley, and Whirlwind. I haven’t played Wickenburg but have heard good things about it (it’s a long drive from Scottsdale).

Note McDowell is terrible shape....Had a scheduled tournament there that the TD has cancelled because of the conditions.
