Tiger Woods had knee surgery

To repair cartilage damage in his left knee

Did seem like he was limping the last couple weeks.

Surely Tiger must be immune to anaesthetic by now ?

funny how he hides this stuff until surgery.

I’d hide it too. If he hadn’t he’d have spent 2 extra hours with media last event. At least he cuts some of that out.

true, wonder if it was even the obliques hurting him few weeks ago when he WD and instead the knee?

I bet it was. Even with his means you don’t get consultation and scheduled for surgery inside a few days. This was a month in knowing at least.

The surgery he had was extremely minor (clean up the knee a little) so it's really a non story. Obviously it's tiger so it's big but anyone else has this and it's not even mentioned because it's a recovery time of a few weeks. My guess is he wins another major next year.

He just won the Masters and loves competitive golf. He also has consistently shown that he’s willing to risk injury to keep playing, and is happy to put in the work rehabbing. Tiger is not afraid of pain (no offence to Andrew Luck; I’d retire too if I was injured all the time).

His situation is nothing like Luck’s.

Yeah, he also says he's planning on playing in the ZOZO and is already up and walking around. This happens to somebody else and it's just a passing comment in a pre or post round press event.

Golf isn't team sports, golfers are independent contractors and don't have to disclose jack squat if they don't feel like it.

This is at max a 30 minute procedure. 15 if just a clean up, maybe a little longer if cartilage was repaired. Most people can walk out of the hospital after surgery. Im sure he will end up with bilateral knee replacements in the future tho.

TW played the game totally recklessly. Plus, add his bizarro navy seal thing. He could have hung it up 11 years ago and still had 14 majors and 70 wins. But, he's a tough, determined sob. So, there you go.

I call shenanigans. No golfer should ever have to have that many surgeries. Regardless if workout, or running, etc. Sorry I don't buy it. Sure he is tough, but his body is fragile.

l has this done eight years ago and was walking normally three days later.
