2-0 this week with browns to go.... How is that the MNF game?

Man, Titans tried hard to screw me but I squeezed in there. It's like their coaches have a special playbook on how to lose to Indy with those play calls.

I thought this would’ve been the 1st Monday night game this year. With all the hype around the Brownies, and they played in the first Monday Night game ever in 1970. Brownies took down Cool Joe and the J-E-T-S.

I was confused by your earlier post but didn't get into it. CHI was giving the points on any line I ever saw. Pretty sure I lost that one. Which would put me at 3-3 overall.

Its a travel theme this morning.
As a kid, we were staying at the Red Roof Inn on I90 in Buffalo, we were there for a tournament, and because we were 11 we thought what a great place to throw snowballs at passing cars. They couldn't really get out and chase us since they were going 65 miles per hour, and there were no cell phones back then. Not sure any of us could throw the snowballs far enough, but my memory says I never missed a car. They are playing the Red Air Gun and Cincinnati. I have only been to the Queen City in the summer, again for tournaments, and again before cell phones, but I thought Cincinnati was a huge dud. So, I am going to take the Buffalo Bills and give the points. I suspect by the end of this one, I will be 0-7.
Standing on the front of a 21' skiff chasing tarpon with the old fly rod. WTH I thought, that'll be fun and let's face it, we don't make memories in the office. We were out in the Marquesas, and there was a tarpon just sunning himself, doing general Tarpon things. I threw my bug, because I was there to catch him, and my guide yelled at me because I was casting to his tail. Hmmm, I thought, that doesn't look like a tail, but he's the guide so I cast to the other side. The fly hit the water and as I was stripping it something happened and the fish swam away... the guide had me cast to its tail. Then later when the knot he tied broke, because idiots like me can't tie a good enough knot, he started yelling at me because I lifted my rod on the hook set. It was the single worst day for which I have ever paid to fish and not because of the fishing. So, because guides in S FL are butt faces (and it is a well known fact within the greater fishing community) I wishing they get truly beaten down by a suddenly resurgent Cowboys. I will give the points and take the Cowboys.
Off to the right of the Tillighast masterpiece in San Fran is the site of the last duel in CA. In PGH, their signature course has a highway running through it. There are still some trees at the SFGC, Oakmont cut them down. In the clubhouse the gun used in the that duel is prominently displayed behind the bar. At Oakmont we ate on the porch so I can't speak to it with any certainty what they have, but the history was palpable. Both experiences were awesome, but knowing more about Oakmont I totally psyched myself out and shot the highest round I have had since my Carnoustie meltdown (another psyche out based on the history and the amazement of acutally playing the course). I really, really liked the SFGC but I also really liked Oakmont. So who wins the battle? I think Oakmont will beat the 7 point spread this weekend and while I hope for a win from the Black and Gold.
Thinking back on some of the travel... I should do it again...
Have a good week and see you at 0-9 next Tuesday.

Maybe over 54 and change total in the Ravens v. Chiefs game
. It is dependent on clear weather of course. I'm thinking that might be a savory play.

Not going to touch the big number spreads, but the Pats win by 30+ going away. Poor Fins.

    My Week 3 picks
    Detroit +7

The Eagles beat the Skins and the Falcons by less than a TD in each game. I'll gladly take a td with the "a little warm" Lions.

    NY Giants +6

The rookies' (Daniel Jones) first start. The folks in my state like Duke University a good bit. Cept all of Tar Heel Nation of course...and that's a lot. So just for the fact I have a N.C. address I will take the Gmen in this spot. Perhaps an outright win is not out of reach either given that fab RB Mr. Barkley.

Seattle -4 a change from the Rams pick I made in my original post.

Hey Brownies, a real top 5 NFL team is coming to town for a Prime Time game. Baker and his mates fall short of covering the 3.

Glad we have I think now 8 solid participants. :)
Will the Qqq man remain undefeated on September 24th?
..................and what about my Skins hosting MNF?! Oh no I fear a close one in that game.

If only SF would have kicked an unneccessary last second FG I could have gone 3-0....but no. I'll settle for 2-1 on the week and 5-4 overall.

    Wow Saints in Seattle. ugh
My two dogs were outright winners. I bet that doesn't happen again for me this season.
2-1 for the 3rd week in a row.
    6-3 on the year.
