SM6 still gets my vote overall. F grind is my top choice, M grind from bunkers. But have to say I still like my RTX4 58 low grind for tight lies. The leading edge is just right for pitching.

I like your style, and agree completely.

The SM6s and 7s were very classy looking. These are a bit too techy for me. That said, RTX4s all day every day based on performance. The low bounce lob wedge is absolute money greenside, and the mid bounce options in the pitch, gap, and sand are perfect full swing clubs.

I think these look great. I love the clean look of them. I am surprised how many do not like these. I guess because they look very different than previous models.

Tough crowd, They seem like a pretty simple design to me... I dunno, it all comes down to how they play.

I really think they look fine, I'll definitely buy them. I kind of liked having the saw thing on the older models though I liked the look of it. Think the jet black will look great in these which I plan to get, otherwise maybe order raw and add some customization stamping to them.

I like the different look. Can easily tell them apart from SM5, 6 & 7. That ridge sort of looks like a Ping.

Doubt the performance will be significantly better on these than the 7s. Might order a set in jet black once they go on sale now. Love the 7s, not liking the look of the 8s at all.

I at least understand now why cast is preferred to forged with wedges per the Voshall interview.

Any info on whether or not they've abandoned the moving CG based on loft? Hard to believe that the tech they've had the last two generations is now in the past?

Am I the only one that’s more concerned about the shape of the grinds more so than the design of the back of the club? I think it’s curious how we’ve really only seen the S grind in all the leaked pictures. Shots of the new M, L, D, and K grinds would be more telling.

Limited info but this looks more like a visual refresh than some sort of major functional design change. The SM6/7 look is a few years old at this point.

Also not a fan at all given how great the SM6/7 look but it’s just the back of the club. I kind of feel like we’re in an awkward era of golf style...

While not my favourite, I don’t despise them. Plenty of life left on my SM7 Raws, so no intention to change.

If you could do a blind hitting test, I bet the sm2-sm8 would all give similar results. There's just not a lot to adjust from perfection. Basically the raw finish is what people want, so naturally titleist tries to not give that in their regular releases.

Bag appeal is a real thing, especially to a majority of the golfers on this site. I know some folks wouldn't care if they played a different shaft in each iron, or they stamped "moron" on the back of their wedges BUT some do give a **** about looks. I've been using Vokeys for years, and mainly for the consistent look and feel. Many here are loyalist of a specific look, so yea there's going to be some moaning about it when they basically re design the wedge itself.
