Whatever happened to ....

... I'll start with Victor shwamkrug. Still holds the record for average driving distance of 339+ which he set years ago on buy.com (or whatever they called/call it).

Went to high school with him. He dated my sister for a while. Last I heard, he was trying his hand at long drive, but that was several years ago.

nah. She couldn't be bothered to carry much of anything, lol.

I remember hearing about him. He played a bag of SMT irons and woods. Accuflex shafts. Carried two drivers as well. It takes a lot more than a long ball to make it in golf.

I tried the irons at one point. There were so weird, A stainless steel blade iron, that had a ton of offset, and were strangely light.

This is how old I am Fergie but Johnny Kaye was a big band leader back in the 1960's. Swing and Sway with Johnny Kaye. They played all over the US and some internationally as well. He's from the birthplace of DP4, Peru, IL.

My favorite law professor, who has long since retired, is Andrew W.K.'s dad. I got to meet him once at a dinner at the professor's house. He seemed like a nice enough guy. Much taller than I expected him to be based on his dad's height.
