That a steel shaft in the hybrid? Very interesting. Guess it might make it play more like an iron in playing length and yardage, but help with launch?

Accuracy (direction and distance) more important and he got no issue with launch, in fact it’s the bread and butter club in the bag. That’s the club that gets the job done at Royal Melbourne to shot course record on the last day of Australian Master amateur! Lots of stinger shots to kept it in the fairway 250-300, high & low, left & right!

He's playing a Oban CT115 in the hybrid. Untipped I believe.

Ya, it’s a straight in X flex for the length on hybrid set up.

This is so cool to me. Played in a couple junior tournaments with Shintaro back in the day, had a feeling he’d make it. Seemed like he won everything he played in.

Very interesting, not familiar with the Oban steel shafts. Gonna have to give them a look. Thanks!

i didn't even notice the steel shaft hybrid at first glance. that's very interesting and makes a lot of sense. instead of a graphite shafted utlilty iron i may have to try the steel shafted hybrid...

Thanks Greg for taking those pictures, especially my precious wedges! FYI guys, I build the black tape 6 iron are only a practice club for getting his tempo/feel correctly before doing the real full shots swing. Let’s go son! You can handle this like a champ!

Wedges look nice but you need a heavier hammer (or more strength...grrr!!) for the stampings. They look shallow!

Easy to do that, When you ground 6-7 wedges already for the day and working on this wedges at 10at night. It’s my sore hands, it’s not my “husky” big hammer.
