Looking to swap out the weights for either the 6’s or 12’s. When tightening the weight screws are you looking for a click or just until it feels tight?

The current TM torque wrenches are really intended for attaching the heads to shafts. The weights don't really need to be tightened as much, especially with the putter. However, tightening until you get the click wont cause any problems. Well except maybe for the lightest 1 and 2 gm weights - which had a tendency to break if tightened too much with the newer torque wrenches.

The older yellow torque wrenches (from the R7 driver era when only the weights needed to be tightned) had a lower torque setting. Those are safe to use even for those 1 and 2 gm weights.

When I replaced my 2 gram weights with the 12 gram weights on my spider I turned the wrench just like I would on a driver. No issues here.

I changed mine out from the stock 6’s to the 8’s. I used a Ping wrench and torqued it until I heard the click. No issues here.

I just turn the wrench until tight. As Stuart mentions, the torque rating of the wrench is for installing shafts to driver heads. I've had issues with TaylorMade MWT weights in Spiders when I tightened with a click, so I just hand tighten now.
