Always. It only comes off on the green and goes back on before I get back to my bag. Don't forget to let it dry if it gets wet though.

Always cover the putter (old Ping Craz-e mallet) not to protect the putterhead so much as the shafts on woods and hybrids

Anybody else notice scratches from the velcro on the top line?

Guess it's time to go to magnetic covers.

Yes I do all of the time. Putters cost too much not to protect from dings.

Anyone know who would carry nice Mid Mallet for Toulon Atlanta? Looking for nice red, white, and blue scheme.

    Thanks

If i had a nice one i'd use it. When i upgrade my set next, i'll most likely use them like everyone mentioned to keep value in your clubs

Absolutely use a putter cover. As much as they cost nowadays I want to protect my putter as best as I can.

been using Ping putters for years. one in heavy use since 1990.

also a long time TA 845 fan.

ages ago wandered into a deal for a dozen Armour logo'd covers, ping style replicas in heavy black cloth with good velcro closures.

putter faces still look fantastic. the stainless still has paintfill.

some of my colleagues...not so much.
    currently playing:
    Steelhead III , FT-5 - D
    Warbirds, 3+, 4
    Hogan BH-5, 3-PW
    Wilson DynaPowered SW
    Ping Anser
    it works

when I need a change, there are 12 bags full to choose from .

Putters are switched so often it doesn't make sense not to for resale value if you own anything from $50 up. I have a lot of old becu Ping putters that are super clean due to having a cover and could easily flip them for $40-$60 bucks each let along some of my custom putters which would go for a few hundred.
    Ping ISI BeNi 3-LW
    Ping Zing 3-SW
    Ping Pal 4 BeCu (3)
    Ping Scottsdale Anser BeNi **Sold**
    Scotty Cameron Newport 2
    Machine M10 Adjuster CU
    MannKrafted MA/66 SS **Sold**
