So your perfect bag is set, now what? What is the first club you replace?

I think I'm done with my perfect bag set-up. Now what? What is the first club you replace?

For me it seems to be the driver. I purposely had my irons and and wedges fit for me so that is set. I love my Ping Anser 2 Vault putter so that's safe. I'm also happy with my current 4 wood and hybrid so those are safe.

The driver? Well, it seems like this is the club that is always replaced first.

To be honest i don't even "replace" drivers as much as just rotate them anyway. I've played 50 rounds this year and probably 25 each with 2 different drivers.

So definitely driver for me i guess

Probably Putter ... As great as one is, it does go stale or cold!

The first one I used that hit the ball in the water because I’d be sure it wasn’t my swing.

While I am perfectly content with my wedges, I have been toying around with the idea of going all vokey some point as my 54* SM5 has been one of my favorites to play. The amount of bounce and grind options intrigues me as to how they would perform compared to my current mix-and-match wedge setup.

Hybrid is a revolving door, and I plan to take one of my old iron sets out "just to try" some time this week. So by the end of the month I could conceivably change 2/3 of my bag or nothing at all. Who knows.

I'm in this same boat as I'm finally happy with my bag top to bottom. For me it will probably be wedges or driver

Assuming no accidental breakage the least secure spot in the bag is 3-utility right now.

I've a driver ho', so the new shiny might be tempting next year.

For me it’s driver, always looking for more distance but it’s always the drivers fault it’s not going far enough

Not a single club, but looking to upgrade my irons. Perfectly happy with their performance, but would like a blended set and a set that is "fit" for me to provide tighter distance gaps.

3/4/5 w slot in the bag. I think its most course-dependent so will always have regrets and thoughts based on recent rounds

Wedges - always tinkering with different bounces and lofts

I have ancient Vokeys in tbe bag that I will change out if I find myself playing in an event requiring conforming grooves post 2024. I would have to find a conformimg 56.14 and 52.08, luckily they are standard grinds the only difficult part will be getting them raw.
