Just moved to LA (Santa Monica) looking for some wrx’ers to play golf with

As the title indicates, I recently moved from Orlando, FL to Santa Monica for a new job and I’m looking to explore this network of golfwrx’ers to see about getting on a few courses or linking up to play. I play to a +1 so I can hold my own for sure but really just looking to meet some good people. The golf scene here if you’re not at a very steeply price private club is slim Pickens. Either way, I’d love to link up with anyone within an hour drive or so.

Rancho Park has a great mens club. Good course too and not too far from Santa Monica. Slim pickens for sure on the Westside. I live in Manhattan Beach (work in Century City) and travel to Long Beach for golf. When I moved to CA from the East Coast I thought I would be playing more golf due to the weather and number of courses. I could not have been more wrong!

Yep. Golf is pricey or crowded in LA. I agree with tw422 re Rancho Park men's club and rancho park. I also play some at Rustic Canyon and sometimes down in Long Beach. I am retired so I play weekdays - if that's possible, I'd welcome playing (I'm not close to +1 but a legit 8). Ironically I also live in Manhattan Beach...

I moved away from Chicago a year ago and now live in downtown LA. I’ve traveled as far south as Oceanside to play. If you’re on Instagram check out the traveling group I’m part of leftcoastgolfclub. I’m no where near a 1 (20) but if you want to play sometime hit me up

Im out at Rustic Canyon pretty much every weekend. Mostly as a 2-some with one other friend, so always happy to add another. Best public course in the area by a mile
