Myrtle Beach course with wife and kids

I am posting a question for a co-worker....He is going to Myrtle Beach next week with wife and 3 kids (ages 11, 13, and 15). He plays golf about once a year and probably shoots 95-100. Wife and kids go to the range maybe a couple times a year to hit a bucket of balls. He would like to take them golfing one day on their vacation. Does anyone have recommendations for a course that would be reasonably priced, not too busy, and allow the 5 of them to play together? They are very considerate and would let anyone play through that comes up behind them. The condo they are staying at is on the beach in the Barefoot Landing area. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Dont be upset but tupelo bay would fit the bill. The executive course is perfect

Beachwood is an easy going, kind of sleepy course nearby. We played it as the “fun/drinking” course on a bachelor party - and they were very accommodating and I think meets what he and his family are looking for.

Myrtlewood has two courses, not the worlds greatest, but beginner-friendly. I took my wife there a couple years ago when she had only been playing for about 6 months, it was a great experience. Very laid back place.

Someone already mentioned, Tupelo in Surfside/Garden City is a GREAT option. Decent range that's lighted until 10pm during the summer, with an executive course and par 3 course that are also lighted during the summer until 10pm. It's a fun place to go smack it around for a day or take someone who isn't going to shoot the lights out of the place to still be able to have fun. For full scale courses, Myrtlewood isn't bad as a fairly easy course, the west course at myrtle beach national isn't bad and actually the Wizard isn't too rough as long as you don't catch it on a really windy day.
