Informal Poll: Wilson Staff Duo Soft or Callaway Supersoft? Which one performs better for you?

Duo.

SuperSoft just doesn't feel or play right to me. I've had issues holding greens with it. Like, massive, massive runout. Don't have that issue with the Duo. Yes, the Duo runs out more than a urethane ball, however the SS will roll off, bounce off the green on a decent approach, you name it. This is my personal experience only, YMMV.

I prefer the Duo. Neither is my favorite but I’ve tried both and Duo works better the the Supersoft for me.

Neither. But if I had to choose, Duo Soft. It's a bouncy ball, with SOME performance. I couldn't get the SuperSoft to hold a green at all.

Duo. Ive never been a fan of the Supersoft and Im not confident that Callaway has figured out how to center the cores on their golf balls yet.

I prefer the Supersoft and play it quite a bit (along with the SoftFeel). I couldn't tell the difference (performance on shots) between the two balls the little I've played a DUO. The DUO did feel softer, and this may have impacted what I thought a little bit, but I think this is just what I was accustomed to.

Supersoft. I’ve used the Duo and Duo urethane and the Supersoft in the colder months. What I’ve come to realize is that all of these balls run out more than my primary ball, but the greens are usually “softer” in the colder months too. So it comes down to feel and cost and “options” to me in the winter, and I just love the feel of the Supersoft. Marshmallow-ish but solid if that makes sense. Duo is just a plain marshmallow to me. Plus, the Supersoft comes in a ton of colors at a good price.

Any Wilson Staff ball seems to be highly underrated. The 50 Elite is a terrific ball and they get better the higher up the ladder you go.

The Supersoft is my winter ball. Runout isn't an issue here in the Pacific Northwest as greens ar very wet. The ball goes straight on full shots though. I struggle to hit my usual 2 foot draw with it. It's point and shoot.

It's a two piece ball. I'm not too worried about its core being centered ;).

Supersoft or Superhot... Just started playing them recently and switched completely. They are great performing balls for me at least.

You may not be worried but based upon what we've learned recently, perhaps you should be. ;)

I prefer the Supersoft especially when putting. It definitely feels springy off the putter but the Duo feels like a rubber bouncy ball to me. Off wedges they both feel similar to me, I really do like feeling like the ball is compressing into the clubface. Whether or not that really happens, who knows.

It's a two piece ball. There is a core and a cover. Kind of hard to have an off center core when that's all that there is.
