This eagle decided to land about 20 feet in front of us the other day with a baby duck in its claws.

Enjoyed a nice solo round at a local muni 5 minutes from my house yesterday.

I can’t edit:

1. Snapping turtle in a tee box. She’ll probably 24” long. We played different tees that hole.

2. Sea lions off a hole at Cypress.

3. Sunset at home course.

It was the weirdest looking snapper I have ever seen, and pretty much the largest as well, so I didn't get too close to it. Much of the stuff on the front of the shell was pond scum (from my distance), Those things look so prehistoric, and their jaws are so strong it was really a cool thing to see.

Lol! That picture reminds me of my days working on the grounds crew. Hole #3 at the course had one steep hill between a bunker and the green and every new guy who we’d send to mow around the greens would catch a tire and roll the mower into the bunker. Looking back it was really dangerous to send guys out to mow knowing they’d do it but it was funny every time.

Who of you could get on in two from the tips? ?

My avatar pic. My home course....had it all to myself one day. This is one of the toughest stroke play holes I've played. 400yds, with stakes basically everywhere off the tee and near the green

I often see bears on the courses I play in the Western Carolina mountains. I have at least 6 times come in contact with them playing, and as close as 50 yards. They have no use for golfing humans. Still makes me anxious as ever.

My wife and I are going to be moving to that area in a year or so. Absolutely Beautiful!





My last day out for the year!

Number 9 at chariot run with dad on his double nickel birthday this year. Best memory of 2019 for sure.
