Looking forward to watching this one, the last couple of years it has been a pretty good event. Slight surprising that they only have 4 of the Top 20 there but I guess there are plenty of guys who have been in the Top 20 further down the list.

I agree with this completely. I would have loved to see more of the top guys make the trip, though do understand that it's a lot of travel in what many of the upper echelon of guys seem to use as their off season. It's a beautiful and interesting course that I would love to get the opportunity to play if I ever found myself in that part of the world again.

I'll third what y'all are saying. I think some of the top players are choosing between South Korea and Japan next week(?). Pretty nice field though, at least a half-dozen major champions.

Welcome to our world here in Oz, where you can only watch the PGA highlights, live broadcast only if you are super keen. I rarely am that keen, only for the Masters last few holes from 5am onward here.

Kind of what great players do in their prime. Lost count of the number of times I said the same about Woods in the late 90s/00s.

Last year, it was obvious that bombers had a huge advantage on 18 by cutting the dogleg over the trees. They also mentioned that they were considering narrowing or eliminating the leftmost landing area.

This morning, I saw a highlight of the approach Brooks had into 18 and the approach looks like pretty much the same line he took last year -- perhaps with the same amount of fairway? Did they actually narrow the leftmost landing area or is it still the same as last year?
