New callaway driver “mavrik” (Pics added Page 8)

I was lucky enough to see and hit the 2020 driver. Color me impressed.....

Still doubting anything is better than OG Epic, what more can they even do with drivers, surely can’t make one that fixes a bad swing

But, it flat performs. Especially on misses. Still three models. SZ, standard and draw.

Will this replace the epic flash line? I want a new 7 wood and almost bought the epic flash but I am holding out to see if these compare. Does it have jailbreak?

Haha. I appreciate you being polite about your criticism. Which is fair. I pretty much use this forum in many ways like a group chat with buddies. I have no interest in post count alone. I just enjoy discussing golf in all its forms. So I probably could have and should have been more thorough.

I do not know the loft option on the draw head. I did not see that one. I was just told there are the same models as currently available, sub zero, standard and draw. I would assume the lofts currently available would continue.

Yes. To me the Rogue was a continuation of the Fusion Line. I like the forgiveness and shape. I stuck with my m4 but the Rogue is a model I liked.

No, the Epic line is the more adjustbale more preium option. Epic drivers, fairways and hybrids all have adjustable hosels. The Mavrik is replacing the Rogue as the more affordable "Speed" line. Driver will have an adjustable hosel, fairways and hybrids will not. Epic is the old Fusion/FT/Razr, etc. Mavrik is like Diablo, X Hot, X 2 Hot, XR, Rogue.

Not the case here, he is bang on with the description.

Think x Hot 2 colours, upgraded carbon fiber and flash face.

Epic Flash is also staying in their catalogue for another year.

Embargo is on right now, meaning you won’t hear Callaway announce anything on it for a couple of months and they’re only showing key retailers and staffers the product currently, and booking their 2020 orders.

Thanks for the back up. I think this driver will be nice for some. As I said, I think the real big story with this one is the difference in titanium used in the face. It will be a higher MOI club head offering nice stability. I think it is kinda ugly, but it is fast and I think many will like it and be able to get past the looks.

If it's the big bertha fusion with jailbreak and flash-face, sign me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Technically no because it’s the opposite release of the epic which has been pretty standard calllaway for several years where they have different lines that get released every other year but it would be a good bet the epic flash line gets discounted soon

Correct, it is kinda the same as the JPX and MP lines for Mizuno. It is a replacement although a bit more of a parallel product line. There are new Mav irons coming as well.
