interesting to note that whilst looking up this course on top100, i learned the #2 course in Japan is actually a resort, and open to the public ... top 50 in the world ... assumed all of their great courses were private, but kawana (fuji) is open to the public ... a pebble beach type deal, pay an arm/leg to stay/play, but interesting nonetheless ...

I can think of four that had "additional incentive" to show up.

If Brooks doesn't show up in China due his knee, it is possible the ZOZO will have a better field than the WGC HSBC Champions.

Hope Hideki can get it done this week, would be really cool.

Brooks might miss the HSBC and Presidents Cup.

The course looks to be in incredible shape, but kind of a boring layout
