ST190, F9, still in bag?

I know these were 2 popular drivers early in the pre-launch days of 2019. Anyone keep these in the bag for long for the season?

I'm looking to pick up a new driver, no reason other than I'm bored. I was looking at the new epic flash, but I've gamed 2 Callaways this year already, OG Epic sz and Rogue sz.

The 2 that intrigue me are the Mizuno ST190 and Cobra F9. I demoed both back in April, Cobra with HZRDUS Smoke and ST190 with Kuro Kage and Atmos blue. I remember liking the ST190 more.

I played an ST190G until about a week and a half ago when my shaft broke mid-swing and my ST190G head flew 30-40 yards and cracked when it landed. My new driver is going to be an M5 as it just feels better. I like the ST190G, but after hitting the M5, I can (and will) say the ST190G feels less solid. However, if I had never hit the M5, I'd probably have continued loving the ST190G.

Tried the ST190 for a while then the ST190G but ultimately set them both aside. Not that I didn't like the head, but didn't dig the Atmos shaft as much as I thought. Got decent results on a launch monitor, but was all over the place on the course. Since I had sold my previous G400LST, I ended up trying out the G410LST (both with the Ping Tour shaft) and love it. I actually give credit to the shaft, and enjoy it so much, I put the 75g version in my Mizuno ST190 3-wood. If it wasn't so easy to keep the Ping driver in play as is, I'd probably put its 65g Tour shaft in the Mizuno driver as well but no sense in fussing with it now.

Used my F9 all season with a combination of an Accra TZ5 and HZRDUS Green Smoke. It has been the best driver I have hit in some time!

Hit the TS3, M5 and ST190G all around the same time. Liked the shape and sound of the M5 way more than the others at first but got a good deal on a 190G with a BF shaft so I went for it. I love it so far, but I do find I'm hitting it out of the heel more than other drivers in the past. Could be a swing or shaft thing who knows. I will say it's held its own far more than I expected with the other 'premier' driver companies.

If you are playing that Diamana X17 in xx flex you sir are a monster. That shaft is so low torque and stout. You have to be hitting that thing straight.

I've been playing the F9 all year. Longer than anything else I've played by 10 yards, but was a little erratic this year (my fault, not the club's). Started with the Atmos Blue TS, then went to the Veylix Alpina, and now have the VA Composities Raijin. Really love this combo.

F9 made it through the season, albeit with a couple of shaft changes. I liked the hzdrus black, but the KK DC XT 60TX was the winner - combination is still going strong, and don't see any changes on the horizon.

F9 was longest when the stars aligned but I found it a block machine at time and a couple of other +HC buddies found the same. It is a ballspeed machine but in the end a bad fit for me given the spin. Picked up 18 yards of carry with a properly fit TS3.

Hah, I'm actually not really a monster at all, or atleast I don't consider myself to be. I'm kind of a Chesson Hadley; tall and lanky with long levers for speed. The X'17 is just such an incredibly smooth shaft that I can play it at a stiffer flex for maximum stability without feeling like im swinging rebar. Truly an incredible piece of gear.

OP, I was on the fence regarding these two drivers earlier in the year as well. Went with the F9 due to the Tour Length option and I have been very pleased. Think I could game the ST190 just as easily though. Both drivers look good to my eye at address and both feel solid.....can't imagine one is head and shoulders better than the other if settings are dialed in. About the only thing I preferred about the ST190 over the F9 was the open face......F9 sits square but the ST190 is noticeably more open than just about anything else on the market.

Started the year out fitted with ST190 w/Atmos Black 6x, coming from G400 w/Accra there was a massive challenge for the Mizzy. After a shaft change back to my heavier Accra and hotmelt, I'm very happy with the extra distance and workability. I realised that I can't play a ball that lacks driver spin as that slightly high toe strike becomes a hook.

Moved to the ST190 from a G30 LST. I have the stock Atmos Blue 5s, an Atmos Blue 6s and picked up an Elements Chrome as I read on here it was close to the Ping Tour 65 from my G30. I've been playing best with the Chrome recently, but the ST190 is a beast regardless of the shaft. Just so much more consistent with it. Talked a friend of mine into one, too, and he loves his! He switched from an I20. I'm hoping to pick up a GD AD DI-6 to match what I have in my ST190 TS 3W -- which is equally amazing! I don't see these going anywhere anytime soon.
