Swag Golf Putter Fitting

Hey all, does Swag Golf do putter fittings at it’s Chicagoland HQ? I couldn’t tell from the website and given the price point I assume so but wanted to confirm. If they do, does anyone have any experience with a fitting? I am Chicago based so it wouldn’t be difficult to make a trip out there.

Have you emailed them? Seems like a logical place to start.

They are faster to respond on E-Mail.

Just got word back from them. They do not offer fittings to the general public at this time but are looking at the possibility of fittings in the near future. Kind of figured as much given they are pretty new so my hopes were not too high.

The thing about Swag is that they are listening to customers a bit. Lefties hounded them and they came out with lefties.

The good thing is also since you asked if they do start to do fittings they'll send a follow up email and let you know.

One more expense on their end. Think about it - their focus is in the design/milling/finishing of putters and marketing. They know the style putters that are out there so they’re not creating anything novel (eg, BGT shafts, DirectedForce putters). So they’ll need to see if/when they grow enough if hiring a fitter makes sense for their business.

Personally I don’t see a case for it - they should stick to milling and marketing. If someone goes to CC and gets fit and knows they need 35 of toe hang, 360g head, and likes a blade, then they can find a similar model from Swag or any other putter mill.

Shop is full of old school arcade games, coolers with beverages, TVs, couches etc. a green long enough to test fit putters. made to have people there. I believe they have quintec but were looking at TM4 as well

I would recommend joining facebook swag groups and they have employees that are also on there. Lots of good information and if they do start offering fittings that will be the first place to see them or maybe they will even do one for you now who knows. They are all very nice and I have started getting a few swag things and quality is top notch!!

I agree with this. Once you have your head weight and loft/lie/length you can pretty much have anybody match it up with want you want!

This is something I was also curious about. From emails, SWAG said they are looking into opening up their studio for fittings after pandemic. Can't wait to see what that experience is like!
