Moving to OKC

Moving to OKC this weekend was looking for some info on best/worst places to play, leagues to get involved with or just a weekend skins game here or there. Looking forward to replies!

Welcome to OKC! For public golf, all of the city courses are pretty well-kept. Lincoln Park, Lake Hefner, Earlywine, and Trosper Hills are always in good shape, but expect long rounds on weekends. The best public courses in the area are OU's course and if you want to pay quite a bit, Karsten Creek in Stillwater.

Yes I did! Played Hefner North, Lincoln Park west and kickingbird. I'm going to get along with the OKC golf scene.

Out of those three I'd have to rank Lincoln park and kickingbird neck and neck with Hefner closely behind, even though I shot one of the best rounds of my life there with a set of awful rental clubs!

Unfortunately my time in OKC was brief because the job didnt pan out, but will be back for good by July or as soon as the house sells.
