It needs some buildup, lol. I’d say the two draws for me right now are Tiger and the golf course. That’s the heart of the holiday season in our house, however, so I may have it muted in favor of some jazz Xmas LPs or just watch any random holiday movie and skip uninteresting matchups or simply fall asleep after testing recipes.

rickie hasn't played in forever due to his wedding ... reed has won more recently ... not all that surprising, really ...

thought the same thing ... the course and woods/els will be the most interesting aspect ...

Tiger will likely pair himself with Reed. Without Spieth on the team Reed is a little easier to have around.

The Internationals are going to get whipped, absolutely whipped. Their best players are not on the same level as the US and their worst players are nowhere near the quality of the worst US players (yes, I realise that they are all good golfers, I am simply speaking to them on a relative to one another basis).

Love that Tiger picked Reed. And love that it blows up soo many heads that he did so !

Quite happy that Finau made the cut. Would have loved to see Kevin Na get a pick, but it's still a solid team. If Koepka has to bow out, I'd bet Rickie gets the call.

Many of them, including Adam Scott, will be playing the Australian Open which is the same week.

True, Sydney is a lot closer to Royal Melbourne and easy to get down there and play it a few times. But like I said, may be worth nothing.

If theres no wind, you are correct.

Once the wind starts blowing in melbourne, look oit for the internationals. Players will need to be able to play a low draw to be able to score well in assie wind.

If Koepka can't go, given Tiger's comments, you would think Rickie is the first alternate.

I was kinda surprised he picked himself. He has played in a lot of these things, you would think he would give someone else the opportunity. Plus, as captain he will have enough on his plate.
