Wedges Cleveland RTX 4 vs Glide 2.0 vs Glide 3.0 Comparisons

Looking to see who has tested RTX4 vs Glides 2.0/3.0? I'm looking to add to my Ping i500 4-U with PX LZ 6.0. Likely add same shafts and or go s300/400.

Just wanted to get folks experiences. Thanks

I don't know about the Pings, but I ~~didn't like~~ Hated the grind on the RTX4 mid 58* and dumped it for a Vokey M grind.

Notoced that the RTX4's are marked down already. IMO the RTX3 was a better sole design.

I always found the soles on Cleveland wedges to be too narrow to be versatile, especially because I play a variety of courses with variety dirt and turf types. I've tested a bunch of wedges and the best all rounders so far have been the Glide 2.0's. I have T20's right now but since it's pretty much the off season, I likely won't get them on course until March 2020.

Can't compare to the Cleveland wedges but I'm very happy with the Glide 2.0 SS Stealth wedges. Also had the 2.0 wedges and liked those as well.

Conditions I play vary from firm to soft soil with bermuda grass and soft to hard pan bunkers and the Pings work well in all conditions.

I have i200 5 to 9 iron. 46, 50, 54 ping glide 2 stealth all Ping AWT shafts and like them for full shots and also use the 50 for chipping off nice lies where I need it to run out. My course is very firm with some bare lies around the green and I have an RTX 3 58 degree with mid sole. The v sole on this club is fantastic off bare lies and full shots off tight lies. Chipped in off a path yesterday with it. Ok in bunkers as well. I would only replace it with another Cleveland with a V sole.

RTX 4 has been the best feeling wedge I've ever played. Cant compare to Ping, but coming from Vokey(had a M grind) there is plenty of versatility for me.

I had the Glide 2.0 Stealth and then went to SM7's but recently got the Glide 3.0 SS Grinds in the 50/54 and love them. Way more forgiving than the SM7's and found to be more forgiving than the 2.0's. I swapped out the Z-Z115 stock shafts for S200's and it made the world of difference. Can't go wrong with the PING's IMO

I love the RTX 58 xlow grind. It took over for the Taylormade Hi-Toe for me. It's so easy out of the sand and with flop shots not to mention the feel is good.

Went from the RTX 3 54/60 to Glide 2.0 Stealth 56/60. I never really got comfortable with the offset of the RTX 3, and the Glides look fantastic at address. In terms of grind, I enjoyed the pronounced v-sole on the RTX but have had minimal issues going with slightly less bounce in the Glide Stealths. It is also worth noting that the grooves hold up better on the Pings with minimal differences in feel compared to the RTX. After a full season of playing and decent range time, the milling on the Glides is still visible.

Was likely going Glide 3.0 as easy to match my current iron shafts

Glide 2.0 forgiveness and turf versatility is better than my rtx4s. My brother had the glides and I'm thinking about switching to the 3.0s.

the feel of the rtx is better though.
