2020 Bettinardi BB Series putters (BB1, BB1F, BB8W, BB45 in hand)

These look great!!! I'm really digging the BB8 Wide. Will be torn between that and the BB45.

Just got the bb8w Armageddon putter but sure that I’ll get the bb8w as well. If they have the same soft feel as the current bb series I’ll be sold for sure

Grips look decent, I do like the flat front they do

Loving that wide, has a Queen B #5 vibe to it. Will be awfully hard to knock the #5 out of the bag but we’ll see

How are the Bettinardi putters say compared to the Scotties or Spider X? I like a softer feeling putter. Really diggin the looks of these at $300 that’s a good buy!

I have a 2016 scotty np2 and prefer Bettinardis lately. I like that they are full milled and have options from soft feeling to the more solid feeling. For the price of these it’s hard to pass on. I liked the last bb series but was not a fan of the finish and bright paintfill. Now that this line will have a wide back and I like the lamkin sink grips so it lets me order at the length and lie I was fitted for. Only downside is that they don’t offer a way to customize weight for what you prefer. I play at 36” so 355g comes out perfect for me.

Sweet thanks for the insight. Ya that’s the only thing that worries me is my Spider X is 363g at 35” and these are a little lighter

Look cheap to me.

The BB1 seems to have become more narrow from front to back with a fatter face and topline over time. The chunky monkey look does nothing for me. I guess he is trying to make it different than a BB0 but it is ugly.

Totally agree. That’s the first thing that stood out to me. Look awful IMO.

Hey @BettinardiGolf do you have any specs on the putters that are offered with these? Weight? Diameter? Etc?

They look pretty good, but I’m not liking any of them better than my BB29 from these pictures. The color scheme is an improvement I would say.

hmm.. can't say that I like the sole... too busy.

Dang... had a fitting at the Studio B yesterday and pulled the trigger on a custom BB39. Wish I would have known these were pre-order so I could have asked for a demo of that new BB1 if available. The shape is much better then the 2018 BB1. Guess I'll just have to go back for another fitting.

Rolled a lot of their "faces" yesterday. The super fly mill in the carbon head is soft with a nice solid, but not clicky, sound/feel. Their FIT FACE would be the softest and most similar in sound/feel to the insert Spider and Odyssey putters. It's hard to believe the FIT FACE is even a milled head considering how soft and muted it sounds/feels.

The milling/paint fill on these looks too bold and cheap. Yikes.

Love the choice in cosmetic of this line. Well done Betti. BB8 W is tempting

The price goes up after the pre-orders? Where did you see that?

I got an email last week. It was a pre order special.

And a betti fan, I and little disappointed with these. Just a black finish and different Paint fill. sigh

Anyone else pulling the trigger on these? And can we confirm the price will go up after the pre orders are finalized?
