2019 Titleist Vokey SM8 wedges - 46* - 62* - #1

Well, a 56 in D. Might be the perfect club for softer northern courses. Although I really don't love the way they look, I might have to put that 56 D into play next year.

These look really good to me, lovely shape at address and so many grinds to choose from.

These look great! Love the 56d but hope they have a s with more than 10 degrees of bounce or a 54 or 56k

I don’t need them, but I’ll probably own set. Vokeys seem like they keep getting a rounder and rounder leading edge every version.

Wonder how the raw version will rust. That SM8 badge area looks plated, unless it’s just polished and will rust also.

Is it just me or does the leading edge seem a lot more rounded compared to the SM7?

I do not like rounded leaded edges, that is all

If they would have left the "Vokey Design" text off the back these would have been perfect. Did they completely go away from the "CG Optimization" shaping? If so, I'd love to know why. I never really liked the idea of it especially on the lob wedges.

Hard to imagine they will be any different than the 7s.

The look at address is perfect!!

Now this is something I could spend my money on. Putters and wedges get me.

I agree. But wedges are wedges. Grooves are maxed and there's only so much they can do other than offer a different bounce and grind option. Play what looks good to your eye.

For sure. These don't look good to my eye_ at all_, but I'm sure others will love them.

I will have to put them side by side with the SM7s from a top down view before I make any decisions. I don't really care about what the back looks like. Can't see it when I standing over the ball.

Is the SM8 area part of the wedge or is it stuck on there with some sort of adhesive?

These look absolutely beautiful to me! I was curious if they would come out with any coating to help in wet conditions?? I wanted to try something like the glide 3.0 just for that reason but figured I'd wait to see if the SM8 had a similar coating option. I just can't seem to get away from Vokey Wedges lol

Is it me or did the pictures stop at the 56* D? I don't see anything after that.

I don't know if I like this design or not. Almost look too futuristic.

Still prefer the SM7, except the ability to get the D grind in a 54 or 56.
