Best Gloves

I tend to change gloves alot because they always tear on me from my sweat. top of the hand right over the thumb. i've tried so many but eventually tried the TM tour preferred flex glove and its the first time I made it thru a season with just one glove. just wondering if anyone else has the same issue

I go through a few gloves a season, I sweat a lot, have large hands and like my grips thick and rough so yeah I eat through gloves fast.

I will always have 2 gloves in rotation for a round and a spare glove or two in my bag. I've found playing two gloves or more in a round if it's really hot/humid and I'm sweating a lot to help. If the weather is nice I may swap on the turn to just keep the gloves going longer. Also let them dry before the next round, if you go to the range use cheap gloves.

As for which brands the best one in store I've tried is the TM Tour Preferred Flex, it seems to stay soft and last the longest even with my sweat. I also have a bunch of Palm Golf gloves that I bought on sale, they seem to be solid and last but I've had 1 blow out early but that's gloves. That's all I really used last season just since I had so many, this off season I'm going to stock up because now is the time and I'm looking at trying the Srixon Cabretta leather which I heard is really good for the price, Bridgestone Tour Premium, and whatever else is on sale and premium leather.

I second YMark. I’ve tried a bunch, the DynaGrip Elite is soft, thin and durable. I use 2 pair, alternating holes in the hot, humid Louisiana summer. They last and retain their softness.

Value is priceless

I do t think there’s a better glove than the Titleist players glove. That being said, sweat will rip through them as well as discolor them horribly. I have moved a step down to Titleist Perma Soft and rotate two per round

For durability I don't think there is any brand better than Bionic gloves. For full disclosure, I do get promotional gloves from them but that's because I reached out to them about partnering after independently deciding that they are my favorite gloves, primarily for their durability. I'm a competitive long driver so I hit 500+ balls a week at max effort and I used to tear through gloves in about 2 weeks. With Bionics I usually get at least a couple months of use out of them. I also think they hold up well in weather and they have a bit thicker padding without hindering feel too much, which I like as a former baseball player haha.

I never thought i'd be this passionate about a glove, but Footjoy Contour FLX is the best I've ever played, and it's not close. Great value, too. Extremely happy with the product and seriously considering buy a dozen or two to cover me the next few years in case they stop production.

MG gloves. I will never use another glove. I play a ton in the summer all over Texas and its nice to be able to have 4-5 gloves in your bag and constantly be changing to a dry glove. They are so cheap its crazy and I think the leather is as good or better than all the big brands top gloves. They tend to run a little large. I'm a large in footjoy and I can wear either the ML or L in MG.

There’s really only three things you’re looking for with golf gloves. Quality of materials, design/stitching, consistency in fit from glove to glove. Two gloves I’ve seen in the last few years do that better than others. FJ Pure Touch and the Ping Tour. The shaping of the thumb is different in the Ping, which makes it an easier fit, I think (shock, guys at Ping thought something through). Slight edge on quality to the FJ, I believe, so to me it’s a wash. If you’re someone who isn’t picky, but still likes a thin leather glove, the MG Elite is a great value. You might get a few lemons in there as far as sizing/stitching, but for the most part they’re fine.

Nike Durafeels are my favorite, but they seem harder and harder to find these days. Went to my local Golf Mart and they didn't have any so I went through a process of trying out many gloves. Taylormade gloves feel thin and cheap to me. I'm not going to spend $35 on a pair of G/Fores. I picked up a pair of Footjoy Pro FLX which I really like, but through the process, I've found two gloves that really work well for me in terms of price, feel and durability.

Asher Chuck - Love the many colors you can get them in. Most companies seem to make only white gloves. Probably so they dirty fast and you'd purchase more. I prefer a black glove. Blackout Chuck 2.0Tour X - I was skeptical about these because they were just in a bin at Golf Mart with no packaging. For $6.99 each and 3 for $18, I thought they were worth a shot. I loved the fit and my only worry was that it wouldn't last long. Through 8 or 10 rounds, I'm still on my first pair and its holding up well. https://www.worldwidegolfshops.com/tour-x-mens-deluxe-leathersynthetic-gloves/10118747/product
