I have had the 900 forged since they were released and I still love them. Very forgiving and long. The topline is much and thinner and sleeker looking than the 919's albeit with a bit longer blade length. I still get compliments from people who see them in the bag as well.

I just got some Apex CF-16 off Callaway preowned at a great deal during the black friday event. I was coming from XR Steeleheads and then Ping G410's (Neither forged at all) andI must say the Apex feel amazing compared to either of them.
The terms "Game Improvement" and "Players Distance" I guess are up for debate, but I personally think the Mizuno 900 Forged and 919 Forged feel great, sound great, and are super friendly to hit.
Non-conforming, but the Macgregor 1025C is an inexpensive choice that is very forgiving, and a pleasure to hit.
This is pretty much the category that I live in: I picked up some Mizuno JPX-900's this fall and they are a pure joy to hit, even the 5 and 6 irons are quite easy to elevate and get good carry from. My next choice was the Callaway CF 16's. I've hit the newer ones and I believe the 16's were about as simple to hit well as they come. I also had a set of Srixon 545/745 combos, and truthfully I thought they were very similar in launch and forgiveness, but I definitely preferred the feel of the 745's.
The 900 Forged were a nice club. I do believe the 919 is more forgiving, flies higher, and spins more though. It's a great iron. When I have kids and can't play as much I'll probably grab a set - no joke. They are SO easy to hit and feel great.
And I've got my own kids plus foster kids in and out, so I don't get to play a lot anymore, which is why I DID grab a set! :) I've never hit the 919 forged, but if they're an improvement over the 900 version, you can't go wrong there.
I don't know if 919s are a real performance benefit over 900s as I havent tested with a LM. On the looks side, I prefer the thinner topline and slighter longer blade of the 900s. The 919s seemed very chunky to me and much more game improvement when I stood over ball.
Yeah they're a bit bigger and I prefer the sole of the 900F but the 919F felt better to me, still looked good, and offered more consistent flights. I hit some knuckle bullets with the 900F.
Srixon 565's .... but the 785's are also great and forgiving, just not as much as the 565s
I used gen1 pxg 0311p since they came out. I would hit shots off the toe and would not loose any yardage. I thought they felt extremely soft when hit in the middle of the face. In fact i would say they felt as soft as any players iron I have hit.
