Anyone have any ideas what Srixon is going to be doing with their new irons for 2020?

Besides the z-forged blades, the last few releases 745-785 etc... have been around September. I think we are going to have to wait a little while.

Nothing until September of 2020, likely with a corresponding RTX-5 wedge release. Cleveland and Srixon alternate years for cycle releases.

I should have never sold my set of 565's. Best set of irons I've owned.

I bought a set the summer and gave rhem to my old man... i hot them boys a few times and immediately regret it. I shoulda kept those things. They were great.

It'll be interesting to see if they try to camouflage the new wedge with the RTX4 stamp on it like they did with the 3. Wasn't hard to tell, because very few actually played the 3.

Yeah not sure. I have confirmaton that CBX2 is current until 2021 so it seems that Srixon/Cleveland is fully into the 18-24 month product cycle, which is nice. I really want to like a Cleveland wedge, but like Mizuno and Cobra, the shape just bugs the ever loving crap out of me with the super square leading edge and the really rounded toe. It's annoying because I see them in fits just crushing everything else and I put it down and immediately say "nope". I think I played my Nike VR II wedges for too long and the slightly curved leading edge and more overall elongated shape and gradual curvature have gotten in my head. Literally the only wedges that look good to me anymore are Taylormade and Vokey. I stomach the Glide because its so versatile but it definitely isn't winning any beauty contests.

I move to close this thread down until at least summer 2020 to avoid pages and pages and pages of speculation

I did see yesterday that TGW had the RTX 4 Black for $99.

Anybody else think that the off-season might have pushed at least anyone into the Z-Forged? I get that they had the opportunity last year at this time as well, but with all of the 'tour input' that they had, and then almost no adoption is interesting. Any Korn Ferry guys gaming them?

i think that speaks to the greatness of the 785 more than anything.

I'd like to see them go back to the squarer, boxier shape of the 745.perhaps with some added (hidden) tech. I love the simplicity of the 7 series irons. The 5 series are also amazing though they let themselves down a bit with the looks of the 585.

Played a random round in Arizona with a rental set of Srixon Z585’s. Was completely surprised as how easy they were to hit while still looking like a players iron.
