Any news, pics, info re Ping's new driver offering?
I doubt if there will be one.
don't they release a new driver every year? i'd be surprised if there wasn't a new offering.
18 month cycle
Well the G410plus prices were just reduced....usually a sign of a new offering on the horizon....
From what I understand ping did that to be more competitive. Ping hardly ever wavers from the 18 month cycle. First time for everything but I'll really br shocked if they come out with a completely new model
According to the 18 months cycle, the new driver should be released in July/August 2020, but hardly we’ll see any pic before July
G425max baby!!!! Coming soon...
In to see photos.
They reduced the price in time to counter the new offerings coming from the other brands. It’s a smart marketing move half way thru the release cycle
Why 18 months? Give R&D time?

According to Ping, it doesn't bring a new club unless it can beat the old one. That's why there is no 410 Max.
Yes sure, but based on 18 months cycle. Then it could happen that some issues delay the delivery of one product in line with such cycle, e.g. G400 Max 6 months delay compared to the other G400 line and G410 LST 5 months delay compared to the G410 line, but those are exceptions to the 18 months cycle.
However, it is interesting that the G400 MAX was released the same time of the G700s and the G410 LST the same time of the Blueprints....
G410 Max LST.
I predict that there will be a G410 Max in the first half of the year. The whole 'we can't make a club better' line is just an excuse to space out their releases.
18-24 months used to be pretty standard. Ping and Titleist have stayed the course, Callaway went to it after Harry and others joined the team. 1 year releases don’t have many true improvements and the next big “breakthrough” is 3-5 years out and is already being worked...that goes for all brands.
according to the ping rep here no new driver coming mid release.
We might see an addition to the lineup but it won't be replaced until next year. PGA Show next month will probably tell us.
It's a double edged sword. Reps like to give hints, but they also don't want to lose their jobs if it gets back to PING. They're like the mafia. Seriously. Regardless, the PGA Show will tell the tale. Last week I thought for sure there would be a new driver, but now I don't think so until the late summer.
No addition to the lineup this year.
Nothing new on a driver until late summer early fall.
Only 2 things being launched at the show. Only one of them could be called an addition.
Nothing better than my G400 Max anyway. I’ll keep it for a while.
If the GMax is a good fit for you there is no topping.
My max works better for me than any G410 too. I'm sure we aren't the only 2.
no doubt we will not see anything till the mid to end of next year. The whole MAX rumors on here have been swirling for months, people it isn't happening and if it does it will be late August. The reduced prices is the exact model they have used for years now, the second year of a driver they lower prices to boost sales simple and smart. If you research on this forum alone there are people who swear that their reps mentioned that the MAX is coming and that was last July lol. Rumors , rumors and more rumors! Guess what it works you all are anticipating this new so called MAX driver so if it does come the demand is high, well before it even hits the shelves.
