What's one thing that happened on tour that you don't think gets talked about enough?

For me I always think of outcomes of tournaments. One I think about a lot is :

the 2015 US Open, when Dustin Johnson three putted on the last from ~15 feet to hand it to Speith. I know they always players can make stupid mistakes on the 3rd hole of the tournament vs the 72nd and it gets remembered different; and I don't want to say it was handed to JS, but its very easy to see a world where DJ has 2 US Opens, and JS doesn't have one.the 1958 Masters, when Palmer declared he was going to play a second ball after making double bogey.

Couple of others, but I would like to hear if anyone else has thoughts.

Seems like reaching way out there for something to talk about.

Venturi made sure the 1958 Masters was talked about way more than it ever needed to be.

I had forgotten about the '15 U.S. Open, now I'll have to forget it again, lol.

I think we need a lot more discussion of Patrick Reed, his family life, and things that he may or may not have done in college. You know, things that are all critical to the current PGA Tour.

What makes DJ's 2015 us open worse if Joe Buck was announcing. So, knowing Joe Buck, it's something he'll mention in all future tournaments that DJ is near the lead in FOOOORRRRREEEEEVVVVVEEERRRR...

DJ grounding club in bunker/waste area/fan area on 72nd hole at Whistling Straits was a tough one to watch too... but I would imagine DJ thinks about the missed majors a lot less than we do.

Yes, especially Justin Thomas and Jim Furyk. Furyk tanked so bad that he went out and shot a 58 a few years later just to make sure he was fully finished!

2013 (?) Masters when Tiger hit the flagstick and bounced back into the water.

Reasons for my choice:

1) Was the ruling right? Should he have been disqualified for signing an incorrect card?

2) If he hadn't hit the flagstick, could he have gone on to win what would have been Major no.15?

3) It's Tiger.

I dont have many but one that really sticks with me.....Anthony Kim...we all know/speculate that he is out due to insurance money but a m\present day sit down interview would be great. Maybe hear what he is doing now, is he playing much golf if any and how much if so, are there ANY plans to give it another whirl...stuff like that. The guy was so much fun to watch and injuries just forced him off the planet.

I think Woods both missing a 100y wide fairway and full on topping a fairway wood shot in the 2015 US Open aren't talked about all that much with regards to how bad things had gotten. Talk of the comeback is obviously omnipresent but that topped shot in particular hasn't been mentioned much. We mostly hear about the pain and the WDs and how his short game was impacted, but not how 15hc shocking some of his ball striking was.
