noticed more ST190s in the bags of WRxers compared to the G version.

Is the ST190 that much better?

I played both for a short time. The G was definitely lower spinning for me but the regular felt like it had more pop. The ball felt like it exploded off the face more on the 190 as oppose to the 190G.

The 190G is a bit low on the MOI side and the range of adjustment is honestly extremely small compared to its competitors. The standard 190 is honestly a next gen 2016 M2 and if Taylormade had released this driver it would be an instant classic.

ST190 is a beast. It kicked my Rogue sz out with ease. In fact I still have stock shaft, Fuji Atmos blue 6s. No reason to shaft experiment, low spin bombs.

Took me a little bit to get the G dialed in, but since i have, it's been great. Longest driver I've owned since the 430 M1, but a lot easier to hit.

FYI - If you're in the market the ST190 driver and fairways new are very reasonable price wise now. I had some shop credit and have the ST190 driver, 3 wood, and 5 wood coming my way.

Get yourself a new ST190 from Global Golf for $175 and you also get a $25 gift certificate. Hard to beat.

I used 3balls because that's where I had the credit and had it reduced 8% further through a HYBIRD coupon code. The fairways ended up just under $100 each shipped and the driver about $165. I ended up $8 out of pocket.

I know it's a shot in the dark, but if anyone comes across a st190 in LH for around $200 can you shoot me a pm? I play the st180 currently and really want the 190, been waiting for it to come on sale though.
