I have lived in a lot of different areas and have never found it necessary to send clubs for reshaft…...Always very competent club builders locally.....Not saying this to be argumentative, just wondering if you have tried locally.....Although I now do mine myself, I have always though there was a benefit to having the job done by someone who I could interact with and make sure all the right decisions were being made.

My recommendation would be Victory Custom Golf south of Charlotte, NC and just over the state line in SC. Their work is top quality.

You aren't going to get much further than a Denny's or Golden Corral with that type of thinking, which is ultimately going to lead to disappointment. I wouldn't expect any one fitter/builder is going to have access to clubs or shafts significantly cheaper than anyone else as almost anyone is bound by MAP on these types of builds.

Your best closest bet is going to be Club Champion in Hartford, however, there may be someone more niche and local. TXG would also be a great option as they really seem to know what they are talking about, but you have to ship to Canada.

Grow up. Dont worry about my situation. I ask for reasonable club builders. Some price gouge simple as that.

Check out McGolf Custom clubs in Southeast OH. He has a youtube channel that I find interesting. McGolf Custom ClubsI've never used him myself (I build my own), but it appears he has all the equipment and knowledge to do what you are looking for. Check out some of his box to build videos, some of them are putting new shafts into an existing set. Post up the results with who ever you decide to do the work. Merry Christmas!

Have you considered doing it yourself?  A couple hours of work and you can save a bundle while gaining lots of knowledge.  Do you already know what shafts you want installed?  If lie and loft are set, it really isn’t that hard.  There are now very few people I’d trust to touch my clubs beside myself knowing what I do now.

 

I just finished a set of Mizuno HMB’s with Paderson shafts and special BBandF ferrules.  I can’t wait to hit them tomorrow.
