Most likely will skip the first generation of the SIM. First gen is a metaphor for failure.

SIM has moveable weight. SIM Max and SIM D-Type will not have moveable weight.

thanks @n@noodle3872 i haven't played TM woods on quite a while. Did test both the m5 and m6 and both were awesome. Cant wait to see the SIM then may have to give it a try. Do we know when the m5 models will drop in price or if they even will for a while?

The SIM line should be interesting for you to test if you liked the M5/M6. Making the clubhead more aerodynamic could help pick up some mph’s of CHS and BS.

I agree when i picked/ got fit for my new driver it was between the flash SZ and m5 the m5 was longer by 3 yards average but the flash sz hit my launch window more consistant and found it easier to control the spin and shaoe shots with the flash sz. But i am looking forward to the SIM. Really looking forward to some new TM irons

Looks like a cosmetic update. Unless TM make an illegal head they cannot offer anyone more distance. Online reviews of F9 replacement say it is actually shorter.

Well i personally tried 16 m2 with the same shaft, cannot tell difference from my 17 m2. The sound maybe a bit dampened but not as forgiving on misses esp.the toe. M4 is alot better with the twist face and m5 is another step forward in lowering spins. Center hits, cannot see difference amongst 16 m2, 17 m2, m4. M5 is different due to its injected face. Personally m5 will be my gamer for next yr.

The more distance shtick regarding TM was old about 5 years ago. More distance and forgiveness on off-center hits seems to be what every manufacturer is aiming for these days. I don't know about you, but I sure as heck wouldn't mind some extra forgiveness.

normal 9-10.5-12* in both models ?

personally I’d like to see OEM’s go with a 13.5 instead of 12* for us low launchers.

I always think it’s funny when photos leak on the internet and OEM’s scramble (or give the illusion they are) to get control of it. Once that bullet leaves the gun, it’s not going back in. Photo “embargoes” are all part of the marketing. Create buzz, create excitement, create “insiders” to do the marketing for you.
