Callaway Customer Service is Exceptional!

I wanted to give kudos to Callaway for how they treat their customers and wanted to share my experience with everyone. I have an Epic driver which got a crack on the sole, see picture for reference. I gave them a call to see what could be done about it and see if this was a common issues as I have seen this several other times. They are sending me a replacement upgrade, which is amazing on their part. They definitely have me have me as a customer for the foreseeable future. So if performance between Callaway and another company are pretty even, Callaway will get the nod simply based on how they treat their customers.

They have replaced, and upgraded, models for me several times in the past just like they did for you. I went away from callaway because I had a few break but after a different manufacturer wouldn't replace a model that broke, I got a new callaway driver this summer since I know it will be replaced if something happens. Good on callaway. Hopefully you like your new epic flash!

Callaway has amazing service. I haven’t owned many of their clubs, but I had a Hzrdus shaft snap in an epic fairway and they sent me a new one the same day and paid for shipping to get the old one back to them. No questions asked didn’t even send a photo.

Callaway is great. Back in 2014 I was fitted at golf town for the Apex pro irons. Hit the ctapers the best but the fitter told me they were like $25 a shaft upcharge. Didn’t want to pay that. So got the next best shaft for me. Found out later that the ctapers were $0 to upgrade. Contacted callaway and they gave me a call and got me to send them in on their dime and the they put ctapers in for me. Had them back in about a week!

great customer service!

Funny you should post this - I am currently having similar experience with Callaway.

I had a Rogue Driver with a small crack on one of the seams and also a snapped shaft on a Rogue 3W at the hosel.

I took them both into my local Golf Galaxy and to my surprise was told both of them would be covered under warranty. I paid the $15 to have them shipped to and from Callaway and got a call saying Callaway upgraded my driver to a brand new Epic Flash SZ. I have not received the Rogue 3W back yet, so unfortunately my guess is they will just replace the shaft on the 3W but still very excited and thankful about the driver upgrade.

I plan to call Callaway Customer Service on Monday to thank them for the upgrade and commend them on great customer service.

Hands down the best customer service I have dealt with in any business.

In 2008 I got fit into a FT-5 that I couldn't hit to save my soul. I called them up asking for costs to send in head and get reshafted (due to carbon crown and plastic hosel, I didn't want to screw it up myself or a local shop), they asked why and I explained the situation. They emailed me a return shipping label and sent me a new FT-5 with a VS Proto shaft the next day, no charge. I was floored. A premium upcharge at the time shaft for free, plus already installed in a new head.

A little less impressive, but still awesome, but I had the "heavy" weight on my old GBB Epic SZ break (weight part sheared off from threads) in the middle of a tournament. I needed to play again the next day. I called Customer Service and they gave me a direct dial extension, and told me to go to my local golf shop. I went to Golf Galaxy, and gave the number to a salesperson there. Callaway Customer Service instructed them to give me a weight from a shelf model and they would send Golf Galaxy a replacement, in order to get my driver operational again same-day.

Can't say enough positive things about their Customer Service. It's top-notch.

They are professional, flexible and fast. To me they set the standard. And on their preowned stuff, it always looks as good and usually better than their condition rating.

Another compliment.

Years ago a callaway fusion iron head flew off they replaced and repaired same day. Drove to their great office near Toronto.

Now this summer I stepped up my game from game improvement irons to x forged 2018 irons.

Hdcp down from 12 a couple years ago to a 6 this year. But a few of the irons developed chrome peeling off. You could cut your finger if you ran over it. Reached out thru twitter to ask what it was in pictures.

They asked for a DM. I did so with pictures. Didn't hear for a month. A mth later I asked if others had issues resolved, they saw my comment asked me to phone. The girl assisting me arranged pickup & they are with callaway & they say they are making me a whole new build. The shafts were a custom Accra upgraded special order and they tell me they are ordering & building them.

I actually think they should have just used the existing (fine) shafts & fix (attach) the heads but then I'm not experienced on building not sure why it's being done or necessary. Others might know if so chime in :)

This was a new set of irons with less than 3 months use before bad signs came in so they should have lasted and this isn't a case like some of getting a "newer model" replacement. Not a sexy newer model there's no upgrade which is fine with me. Just a bit worried about it happening again never had irons in my life lose their chrome or show a almost copper coloured finish beneath the layer as it wore away.

But great customer service!

My only experience with Callaway customer service was good also. I inquired about an original Toulon SuperStroor grip to replace my Toulon pistol grip. They don't sell the grips to customers, but told me instead of sending it to them that I could save some money by going through a local shop.

Nice of them to turn down the business in order to save the customer some money.
