Best Budget Courses to Play in Vegas

I would love some recommendations for courses to play in Vegas this summer that don't cost a fortune!

Rental cars are out of the question so needs to be somewhere I can taxi to and from!

What’s considered budget ? Pauite is reasonable and my fav out there. Three courses w replay discounts I believe.

Fair question! Around $100 and down is what I would consider budget!  Pauite looks amazing!!

Any recommendations of which of the courses to play?

They are all awesome (the Pauite courses). We played all 3 last March. The sun course was a good one. The wolf is the longest in Nevada. Either the sun or the other one just hosted US open qualifying on April I believe. Paiute is on an Indian reservation down there, so they have no water restrictions. That means fabulous conditions!

Another vote for Pauite. All three are good. Wolf is the best and all can usually be played for less than $100 on Golfnow.

Incredible conditioning particularly for the price.

I also like Bear's Best.

I did not like Reflection Bay and won't ever go there again. In their defense it was like 118 degrees during our round.

Conditioning was not nearly as good as the others mentioned.

I played all three and the wolf was definitely the most challenging but fair. It was almost a decade ago so I can’t remember much expect it was really quiet since it’s on a reservation and I couldn’t believe the price for the golf I got out of it. Wolf creek is far has but amazing views and a fun layout but greens were slow when I played there.

Lived in Vegas, as others have said Paiute is going to be your best bet. About a 25 min drive from the strip, however their summertime conditions will be better than almost all other publics. Sun Mountain and Snow Mountain play similar with Wolf being significantly longer as well as having an island green par3, however all 3 are generous off the tee but will still be challenging. They have 2 full ranges one on each side of the clubhouse and great overall practice area. Def recommend

Paiute is awesome. My favorite course I have played though is about 2 hours away, and during the summer months can be had for around 100-120. Wolf Creek in Mesquite. My photo is me at that course. Absurdly hard for a non skilled golfer such as myself, but gorgeous

Yes I really want to play Wolf Creek as well but don't see how I can get there without spending a fortune on transport

Can’t remember what the cost was, but we’ve gone to Revere a few times while in Vegas and always seem to enjoy it.

Mesquite is an hour drive from Vegas, there's some great courses up there. I will echo Paiute, it's always kept in great condition and all 3 courses are fun, but expect wind. Chimera is in Henderson, about the same distance from the strip as Paiute, but opposite direction. Fun little course and usually in pretty good condition.

Another vote for Pauite, it's absolutely amazing out there. I also love Bear's Best. A few others that i think are really nice for the price are Chimera and Red Rock Arroyo. Fun courses that are generally in good shape and won't break the bank. I'm local, so not sure how much more they charge for out of state players, but being summertime should help offset that. Just be sure to stay hydrated!

Paiute is a pretty good hike out of town as he mentioned he does not have a rental car - Where are you staying? Depending on which end of town, strip, etc might help think best value closest to that spot?

How does Canyon Gate compare to Bears Best? They're both ClubCorp and a mile from one another so just curious for next time i'm out there, thanks !
