MY HOGAN SWING

I feel I am very close to understanding the master Ben Hogan's swing. All comments welcome

Hello Lane it was bit of a joke but I think I understand the masters method. I can share whatever you want my friend. There is simply no one secret ion the masters swing. Where do you want me to start?

Lane I think everything we need to know is in video analysis. It is all there and Hogan even did somethings in his swing that contradicted his own writings. The absolute most important thing for every high handicapper is can you keep the tush line in your swing. There is simply no one “secret” that can help a golfer who can’t hold the tush line through out the swing. Early extension effects 95% of golfers out there. The problem is these golfers are looking for “secrets”. For example if one believed Hogan’s bowed wrist at impact is the secret, but they can’t hold the tush line what value is it to them. You can not reproduce any true aspect of Hogan’s swing if you can’t hold the tush line. So the secret for 95% of golfers is start with the tush line. I can offer plenty of advice in this area. This was the core of my focus when I made my Hogan swing.

My friend the point is there is no secret. 95% of golfers buying “Hogan’s secret” book are wasting their time considering they can’t hold the tush line to any meaningful degree. Everything you need to know about Hogan is clearly on the multitudes of videos of his swing. Hogan’s secret is simply a well played joke on the golfing world. If you want Hogan’s swing then watch his swing on video analysis and mimic it. But with out the basics you will waste your time in the wrong areas. So start by learning where your hips are, then how to find the original shaft plane and last understand where your hands are going in the swing. At that point you can start your Hogan, Tiger, Byron, Snead, Jones journey or who ever you want to mimic. In the end no “secret” you find will be of value if you can’t even aim right. Lastly never forget Hogan already told us his secret it was in Time Life Magazine, but it was his secret for his personal swing. Hogan had all the basics mastered so A cupped left wrist meant something in his swing. Your ”secret” is master the basics then try to mimic.
