Thanks for all the input guys. Picked up a set of MC-501’s. They are just amazing to look down at address. Have only hit them in the sim a handful of times.

I’m a little late to the party, but Ive played all three. Currently have the raw MC-501, raw Tour Issue Callaway 18 MB with extra grooves, Honma Rose Protos and an old set of Scratch SB-1/AR-1 combo set that I got for $160!!

I’ve hit the blueprint and Titleist. Don’t like Titleist. They have a clicky feeling I just don’t like (personal preference). I liked the Blueprint, but I prefer the Miura. Ive had BB, TB and MB-001, I love the BB. Was SHOCKED at how easy to this the 501’s are, and the feel, especially in raw, is just awesome. Easily the most forgiving Miura Ive hit and long. Like super long.

    Hope that helps.

Curious how the Rose Proto compared to the Blueprints? How much bigger is the Honma? The Blueprint to me is perfect at address. Would love to see a side by side of the 2. You can get the Honmas for a steal these days.

The best way to describe the Honma were that they always felt like they were hit one groove to low. They didn't have that Miura or my callaway raw feel of just pure wonderfulness that those both have.

I was extremely disappointed by the Honma, but fortunately the guy who traded me the Apex Pro DOT irons traded me back. Id much rather have those as my backup set!!

Also just got in a set of Scratch SB-1, AR-1 combo set 3-PW. Just destroyed the AR-1 and the SB-1 are great in the short irons. Ill post pics of all later.

The MC-501 are beautiful irons. I hit the blueprints but the feedback was very harsh. Tried to find the raw MB but quite hades to come by. @willpeoples hooked me up with a set of Miura’s and I won’t be changing for a while. I’d though jump on the raw bandwagon and stripped by Cobra Black MB’s. Haven’t played yet but they look pretty awesome.

Interesting enough, I found the opposite with the Rose Protos. Thin shots, for me, still felt great. Flushed shots incredible. I have the Modus 120X in them, what shafts did you hit them with out of curiosity?
