It’s amazing that 3 year old tech is considered “old” anymore

What were the lofts of those drivers? Lots of spin!

I don't see launch angle, but those spin numbers are pretty high. I'd suggest you keep testing with other shafts. Maybe look at lower lofts, depending on what launch is looking like...
I just hit the Sim Max side by side with the Mavrik and Mavrik Max. I'm not a high swing speed player (mid 90's) so the majority of you can probably skip ahead lol. I've always been a Callaway guy, GBB --> Epic --> Epic Flash. Never been able to get along with TM drivers as I always hit a fade with them and tend to lose distance. Went in looking to test out the Mavrik and ended up hitting the Sim Max with a Ventus Red 6r shaft. I thought the Mavrik looked better than the Flash but didn't really see any gains at all. Was hitting it about 215-220 carry rolling out to 235 ish probably. The Sim Max definitely has that old school pear shape which took a second to get used to. First 5-10 balls were all high fades going nowhere. Once I got used to it though I hit a couple on the screws that were carrying 230 and rolling out to 245. I must say I was impressed. Really wasn't expecting it. Only weird thing is that when I did hit it on the screws it didn't give me the instant on the screws feedback I'm used to with my Epic Flash. It might just be as simple as not being used to the TM feel.
No -- but it does make me feel like my M1 driver is old.
I didn't want to spend money on a new driver this year, especially since I've been hitting my M1 ('16, mind you -- not even the '17) pretty well lately. But I can't help but feel that I'm leaving yards and forgiveness on the table.
Don't know, sorry.
This is not my testing.
How long has Mark McGwire been your nutritionist?
Impressive bud, seems as though it was a true test of each model's potential and a humbling read for some of us! My 120ss ain't sh**!
Just realized you were 5 when he retired. :( FML
In the event you don't know much about him, i'll cut you a smoking deal on a dozen of his rookie cards!
I’ve just been ripping dingers for years 🤣
