I'll test the shaft side by side with my gamer, keeping all variables the same (length, grip, driver setting) to look for consistency in flight and trajectory. Then take the same setup to the course to test in real life conditions. Compare to carry and total distances vs my Tour Blue and taking notes on dispersion, feel, and results.

Golf Pride jumbo grip, logo down. Please briefly explain how you would approach testing this shaft. This shaft really has my interest. I have enjoyed Aldila shafts in the past. I played the Rogue Black and Silver, NV Green and Blue. I have since gone to the Tour AD TP shaft to find a profile that launches a little higher, while keeping spin in check. This new white profile seems to be a good fit on paper. I would start the test with a comparison on a GC2 launch monitor to develop some baseline numbers. Next I would follow up with some range testing to look at flight characteristics. Then, of course, is on course testing.....and likely staying in my bag!

I've got access to a Trackman, so I would test my current gamer (M1) with my old KuroKage shaft, and then against new Rogue 130 White. Then I would test my new M5 with both shafts to get even more insight on how the shaft works with an older and newer driver. Depending on timing, I may be able to take my new driver on the course, or at a driving range in Houston to see how it does outside. Getting statistical data, and then confirming its performance on the golf course is the best way to decide if the shaft suits my swing.
