Looking for recommendations on good places to get ferrules online. I got some from golfworks, pretty plain and not a lot of variety. any input is appreciated.

BB&F will also do custom. Literally just placed this order an hour ago, for some black, red and white shorties.

Another for BB&F, got a set in the mail recently for some mp-4s I picked up and they are awesome. Great quality, colors are nice and they are well made.

for standard, check out cell-parts. paid about $13 for collared ones for my irons. got the right size where i didn't need to turn them down.

I was able to install 3 on my wedges. A bit hesitant to get started on the remaining 6 irons but I'll get it done.

They look much better than the plain black.

I went ahead and installed them on my remaining 6 irons. Yes and no on the weights, I have 1 left and it weights 1.86g, but I used a .370 drill to drill them out, didn’t weight them afterwards.

2 grams pretty well then. That’s good info, thanks! Did you have to tweak them to size with acetone or is that how they looked untouched?

On the three wedges above, one is an M6 gap, then two on the right are Cleveland CBX. For the CBX's the OD was almost spot on. I dressed down the interface between the hosel and the ferrule, mainly to remove some excess epoxy. Then wiped them down heavily with acetone to get the shine.

For the irons, TM M6, I had to really turn down them down quite a bit. I have a couple fo 1X42 belts sander and use a black ferrule belt. Then again clean them up with acetone.

i haven’t been able to pull the trigger on the belt sander yet, as I’m just getting into building. To get mine down to size I used 400 then 1500 wet sand paper, the. Acetone. I think they turned out pretty good for a first attempt. I found my best finish come with a heavy wetting of acetone and smoothed with my finger. I had what I thought was a smooth lint free cloth, but it doesn’t leave a nice finish. What do you use for the final shine?

Lots of acetone on a synthetic paper towel, like the scott white rags, but in a bag instead of the box. I'd have to look later.

Edit: These are the towels, they are really not rags, very smooth and lint free, so no sticking to the ferrule like cloth or paper. I get them at Home Depot, Intex Cloth Like Rags: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Intex-10-in-x-11-in-Intex-Cloth-Like-Rags-250-Count-NW-99965-W/300193055
